Mazthehobo
So an article from the bbc reports that a recent survey suggests the average screen time on phones is over 3 hours and surpasses the average screen time for TV which is slightly less. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crrqdw9v02eo.amp I know some teenagers who have averaged 15 hours A DAY on their phones so this average amount reported in the survey will soar in the coming years…. As well as eye issues resulting from prolonged activity on mobile devices it has lots of other negative aspects… “Excessive screen usage can also lead to problems in social-emotional development, including obesity, sleep disturbances, depression, and anxiety. It can impair emotional comprehension, promote aggressive behavior, and hinder social and emotional competence.” Bad enough? Well, for me this is hand in hand with the covid jabs. If they did have a negative response on the immune system and made it weaker then it’s worth remembering that ‘stress and anxiety’ (which screen time can increase) also leads to… “stress releases cortisol, suppresses our immune system, interferes with our digestion and can alter our blood pressure.” Hmm…..
Anti Facts Sir
No way is the average 3 hours a day. People everywhere don't take their eyes off the bloody thing all day. Even when in queues at checkouts, coffee shops, bus stops....when they're talking to other human beings....always head down looking at the screen.

I must say I did think the average time would be higher… I just don’t understand what is so important to not be able to look away from the screen. Imagine though the relentless onslaught of lies and fear mongering if the misinformation bill gets to shut down the truth… For me, I check this forum in the morning and evening and sometimes the bbc to see what the enemy is reporting. Personally I think the addiction to screen time is a real pandemic.
Talorgan
What amazes me is people walking off the pavement without looking whilst on screen immersion, obviously I slow down my peddle bike which isn't fast anyway but I suppose this is going towards something strange like a Soma type human experience -cities rewiring the brain from without ?
