Cry more. Not using anyone's death to bait a city. Dont try and gaslight me. Liverpool aren't "jinxed".

@ Fluke .

Soz if I flew off the handle before mate I'd literally just found out. A mate texted us saying have you heard about Jota ? I thought we'd sold him and put the radio on ( no tv you see 20 years and counting ) and was still processing it all. Thinking of his family , especially his wife and three kids wells me up a little. His kids are all under five so they won't even remember his presence . Only videos and photies for them from now on . He had an operation recently I've heard and was told not to fly so took the ferry to Santander and then on to Porto for his wedding and was on his way back for pre season training which starts on Monday. This all happened on my only siblings birthday too who took his own life after the verdicts of Hillsborough came out . He was a campaigner for the HJC. Woooh !!! Go 'ed Universe and your timings you big mysterious sexy fucker !

However its peculiar that liverpool FC always have these tragedy. It's like they pay for their success in blood. We've had hillsboro, heysel and now derby street and its always the supporters that kop it.  (unlike manutd had their  tragedy that took out their whole squad in the 60s when the plane crashed)

how weird back in may I posted "its always the supporters who kop it unlike manu" then one of their players is taken.

I dont think this has happened before to someone playing in football? In england...(I think someone got shot after scoring an own goal at the world cup in america.)

seems liverpool pay for success with blood sacrifice. I expect them to dominate football for the foreseeable now.

Yeah, it's odd how Liverpool success seems to come at a (human/blood) price. Man City won 4 titles in a row and nothing happened. Only similar thing was Leicester...their owner and his family died in the helicopter just after leaving the ground, the following season from their title win.

Can't recall an active player in a top team dying like this. Way back, Laurie Cunningham was killed in a road accident, having left to play for Madrid...but dunno if it was after he retired. Then there was the French guy who played for the Hammers, who died on the pitch (not Muamba).

And now one of LIverpool's players is killed in a car accident.

Anyone would think they're jinxed.

Feel sad about his death. When he was at Wolves - along with Neves, Moutinho, Neto - he was an old school snotter and a fan favourite as a result. Jota always came across as humble, like his Portuguese brothers did and like our manager Nuno did.

I guess that Portuguese culture is still very much rooted in family and community. Many British players are just greedy arseholes with no morals whatsoever.

I have read ‘looks like’ ‘appears to be’ and ‘all the signs point to’ … a burst tyre …

BBC

The police suspect it was an exploding tyre

He was on his way back to pre-season training

The funeral will take place tomorrow

The football community is really coming together

Part of the family

Would like to see some sort of memorial here

Not a Wolves or Liverpool fan, but that Nuno guy has a cool demeanour. Seems very kind and decent. I do recall a lot of Portuguese players there a while back, and even their away kit changed to red and green.

Our owners (Fosun) have a 20% stake in Gestifute, which is Jorge Mendes' company - he's the world's biggest football agent. To circumvent FFP we got access to the likes of Jota at cut-price on condition we didn't stand in their way when wanting off this stepping stone.

Needless to say, we ended up with seven Portuguese players. As a bit of cheek we had the Portuguese strip as our third strip.

Nuno is a lovely bloke and was like a dad to a lot of those young Portuguese players. He's now doing similarly at Forest but their owner is an absolute tosspot and I don't think he'll last there much longer.

I have previously shared some of Frances Culshaw's - aka Pighooey's - content in the Manchester Arena thread as she has, among others, picked up the baton from where Richard D Hall left off.

I was interested to see that she has now uploaded a video about the Liverpool parade incident. She doesn't come to any particular conclusion and doesn't seem inclined to take it any further as she wishes to turn her attention back to the Manchester event. However, the video may still be of interest to anybody who would like to review the footage and fit this to a map and timeline.

At the end of the video, Culshaw mentions Paul Doyle's Facebook page from where many of the photos of him seem to originate. A number of commenters online made quite a big thing about the Facebook page being in the name of "Jean-Paul Boyle". I took a look at it on Facebook alongside some of the comments and feel that a convincing explanation has been given by locals who say they were familiar with those involved. Apparently Doyle has a wife whose first name is Jean and they had a shared Facebook page hence the "Jean-Paul" aspect. Secondly, Jean is a teacher and so they chose to use a variation of their surname (Boyle rather than Doyle) so that nosy school-children couldn't identify her online.

Is this Frances Culshaw the same lady who went by the name Genevieve Lewis who was the statement analyst who helped Richard D Hall with his Manchester arena attack investigation? if it's not her then her voice sounds very similar. Very interesting analysis there, but what would be the motive behind this?.

Dodgy as fuck. Definite hand of the funny squad involved in this. One guy tries to remove number plate, another finishes off the task, then he and his mates go in and get access to the inside of the vehicle. First guy highlighted who originally gets out the car before it kicked off probably part of it too, as he's there again further down the road just before people get hit.

I agree, lots of dodgy things going on in that footage, but try showing this to people who were there and pretty much everyone else, they will call you a weirdo for suggesting this was all a set up. But why remove the number plate?. Alot of people hearing this kind of thing will just say "Oh come mate, there were thousands of people there, you telling me they were all in on this?" lol, that's now how these staged events work. Richard D Hall needs to talk about this, but I suppose there are genuine reasons why he hasn't. Just how many people and public services where involved in this stunt?. How many of the police, ambulance personnel etc where knowingly in on this?. How do these people sleep at night knowing what they were involved in?.

Yeah, it's sick.

And why did that agent provocateur guy continue to open the driver door....not once but twice in separate locations.

Telling how the plod didn't approach them. Suggests they were in on it, and told to let those men move freely around the scene as the chaos unfolded.

Not really relevant or important to the topic, but I asked the Frances Culshaw lady who did the above video analysis was she Geneieve Lewis who helped Richard D Hall with the witness statements for the Manchester Arena attack as she sounded like her, but she said wasn't her but said her accent does sound similar. I've listened to her again and it does sound like the same person to me. Maybe she doesn't want to admit this. I suppose it doesn't matter really.

  • 2 weeks later...

Season not even one game old, and their match v Bournemouth was stopped because the crowd said bad things to a player. As though nobody in a football crowd has ever said bad things to black players, white players, female ref assistants etc. Well blow me down. This must be a brand new thing. Stop the match boys and arrest the person, splashing it all over the media.

Game One and the agenda's already starting.

More attempts to change society, I guess. Liverpool FC are clearly the go-to club for that.
