New Chrome for Android 'Page Zoom' feature...

Recommended Posts

I posted this in the New Tech thread, but thought it might be of more general interest, so I've added it here...

Anyone using Chrome for Android and struggling to read small text?

You can zoom the page with a finger gesture, but then have to move it side-to-side to read all the text. You can also use third-party apps, but Google have recently introduced a new feature built in to Chrome for Android that will let you scale the text on webpages (individually, or all) by simply altering a slider.

Read with ease with Page Zoom

Page Zoom now lets you increase the size of the text you see in Chrome on Android without affecting the webpage layout or your browsing experience — just like how it works on Chrome desktop. You can customize how much you want to zoom in and easily apply the preference to all the pages you visit or just specific ones.

Page Zoom works with Chrome on Android, letting you customize how you see pages.

To start using this feature, just tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner of Chrome and set your zoom preferences.

Alternatively, use the 'Settings' option, which is also available from the three-dot menu.

I find this very useful for reading Icke Forum and other sites on my phone without disturbing the page layout.
