That's sad news, but not surprising. We just have to remember the context we are in regarding our collective timeline of evolution, and that we're arriving at the rear end of our local torus shaped universe, where non-spiritual energy is being sucked into the vortex of disintegration. Humans have a choice of either matriculating into a higher spiritual understanding of things, or opting to be stripped of personal consciousness to be recycled as a spirit germ, which would mean having to restart the process of growing a conscious personality from scratch. Those that become totally dependent on AI would destroy their connection with Divine. Hope that makes sense!

cemeterycrow
Wikipedia operator loses court challenge to UK Online Safety Act regulations Quote The operator of Wikipedia on Monday lost a legal challenge to parts of Britain's Online Safety Act, which sets tough new requirements for online platforms and has been criticised for potentially curtailing free speech. https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/society-equity/wikipedia-operator-loses-court-challenge-uk-online-safety-act-regulations-2025-08-11/ Quote The foundation said if it was subject to so-called Category 1 duties – which would require Wikipedia's users and contributors' identities to be verified – it would need to drastically reduce the number of British users who can access the site. Judge Jeremy Johnson dismissed its case on Monday, but said the Wikimedia Foundation could bring a further challenge if regulator Ofcom "(impermissibly) concludes that Wikipedia is a Category 1 service". cemeterycrow
Ofcom try to fine 4chan Provisional Decision: Information Notice duties In accordance with section 130 of the Online Safety Act 2023, we have today issued 4chan Community Support LLC with a provisional notice of contravention. Ofcom is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing the provider has contravened its duties under section 102(8) of the Act to comply with two requests for information. We will consider any representations provided in response to this provisional notice before we make a final decision on this matter. https://www.ofcom.org.uk/online-safety/illegal-and-harmful-content/investigation-into-4chan-and-its-compliance-with-duties-to-protect-its-users-from-illegal-content Statement by 4chans lawyers: Quote "American businesses do not surrender their First Amendment rights because a foreign bureaucrat sends them an email," they wrote. "Under settled principles of US law, American courts will not enforce foreign penal fines or censorship codes. "If necessary, we will seek appropriate relief in US federal court to confirm these principles." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq68j5g2nr1o This will be a landmark case in the fight against censorship. Of course if the UK establishment lose they will just block access from the UK and then come for the VPN's which they are already working on.
