JONJAY79
Started a while ago now and been getting so much more relaxed and remembering things I'd forgotten about and very nostalgic . The main benefits is very clear mind afterwards but also lucid dreaming is returning . Starting off go backwards and spend a few sessions to see how far back you can remember. I travelled alot living in lots of different cities and towns etc so been going backwards on places I lived. Next sessions start from the earliest times you can remember as a child and go through your year's growing up . Eventually you remember more and more. Do you mind elaborating a little more what it involves?

It's basically relaxing and and starting where you are go backwards in your life month or year at a time then another time try to remember the earliest memory then and go up your time line watching yourself grow up going to school ,your first bike family Christmases over the weeks you will start to remember more and more and it's really ignited my lucid dreaming.
RobinJ
What's also interesting is that this technique is similar again to and NLP one i remember. The premise was to imagine you are looking at a bunch of old video tapes all laid out with titles facing up. Each tape has a label with a significant life moment of yours. You go through and reexamine each one with an intention of clearing any lingering issues (energy). The idea is to feel it fully, or, relive it, and all the emotions around the event. After examination you pull out the tape and eventually remove it That technique was called something to do with time lines too. I've come to realise that NLP and other similar ideas borrowed a lot from ancient spiritual practices, and, nowadays, that the current versions of spirituality borrow a lot from both the above. 1

Interesting thx for sharing. I will also share a traditional Mexican Toltec technique not too dissimilar. You select 4 masks. You do this for 36mins for 36 consequtive days. You then sit in front of a mirror with one of the masks. You then select your oldest memory. You speak the story out loud to the mirror. Hearing seeing a different face via the mask creates a disassociation with you and the story. Day 2 the next biggest memory/story with new mask and so on You find by a certain day you run out of stories. You repeat the old ones. The more you repeat and more you see a different face with the mask the less the story holds power over you. This was an ancient nahual practice people had to do before entering lucid dreaming practices so they don't attach image to their faces and can change into different entities/symbols during the lucid dream state
RobinJ
At this stage of the game I think we are on a rediscovery path and beginning to understand what we have been capable of before the "mask" of control was placed over our entire being. Those who choose to know can find out all manner of interesting things, and even new talents along the way. I'm glad I have had the time to do all the detective work myself.

RobinJ
Self hypnosis helped me calm my brain when I started the spiritual/ meditation journey. NLP showed me what I hold dear and how to change my thoughts and actions. The spiritual journey has taught me that all my past and current experiences are a "book of me" that I needed to explore and understand in full.
