NicklasK
After listening to Icke and many others, I believe that AI can potentially lead humanity to an extremely dark place. So what is the best way to react? So far, I'm torn between 2 different directions: 1. Make myself as independent on the global system as possible, move to El Salvador, grow my own food, prepare to be locked out of the internet/UBI when I decline the required vaccines when that time comes 2. Work on growing food etc, plus work on pushing truly open-source AI, so that AI can become a servant of humanity instead of a tool for enslaving humanity - is this naïve of me? What do you think? AI currently is just a database essentially. I don't think it can ever be conscious itself. I think it is over hyped personally. But, I think if you can be self sufficient as per your suggestion, it's going to be a really good life skill to have, especially if at some point we experience serious economic difficulties. Daniel Carlos
Both paths come from the same core desire: freedom and integrity in the face of a system that feels increasingly controlled. The first is a retreat, a shield against what’s coming. The second is a stand - a belief that even powerful tools like AI can be reclaimed and redirected. Maybe it's not naïve, but courageous.
