Thoughts for Christmas

 

Once upon a midnight dreary, minds entrapped, so dark and eerie,

A cabal whispers, subtle, sly, they seek dominion, 'neath the sky.

In shadows deep, their plans unfold, manipulating, hearts grown cold,

Crafting webs of deceit and fear, controlling all that we hold dear.

 

Through corridors of power they tread, weaving lies with threads of dread,

In the silence of the night, their schemes take flight, out of sight.

Thoughts they twist, like a raven's call, echoing through the minds of all,

Dictating what we think and feel, their grip upon us, cold as steel.

 

But in the depths of our soul's keep, a flicker of defiance, deep,

For though they seek to mold our will, true freedom lies within us still.

With courage strong and minds awake, we'll break free from their darkest stake,

Resist their chains, stand tall and true, reclaiming what is ours, anew.

 

So let the cabal scheme and plot, in their shadows, soon forgot,

For we will rise, like morning light, dispelling darkness, shining bright.

No longer bound by their deceit, we'll forge a path that's pure, complete,

In unity and strength, we'll find, the power to free our hearts and mind.
