You can ask any shamen or go to any Ayahuasca center website and get the info. You don't have to of course, but you will get more out of it. These things have varying degrees of effects. The absolute important ones to avoid is no medication, no pork no sex. The other stuff from my experience and speaking to shamens is less important but still best to do if you want maximum effects. This is just what the shamens have done traditionally in Peru. In Brazil they don't have such strict dieta, but their ceremonies are very different. It's very safe, strong medicine. You will be well looked after. The more traditional centers with longer stays, you kinda just get left by yourself to meditate, little comforts and not allowed to speak or wash. Not good for 1st time imho. I did not think much of mushrooms last time I took them, Infact I wish I took them at the same time as speed But for the topic of use hear; Aya is the mother psychedelic hear.
