How do we open our hearts and experience expanded consciousness?

You ask such a precious question!

I’m not sure i even have the delicacy of communication to express some of the answer.

On a basic human level, i’ve simmered my personal awareness of this subject into a “Do what you love to do” type of understanding.

When we are engaging in what we truly enjoy, in a heartfelt way, it automatically brings joy to others.

This effect, by proxy, slowly expands our personal consciousness.

It’s not really the very mundane actions of personal preference loves like “i love eating pizza and watching movies” i’m talking about,

Although us engaging in personal loves like this can be ‘fuel’ for us engaging in those deeper loves and aspirations.

The deeper, inner aspirations, impulses, yearnings we have, need to be mined and brought out.

It’s like childs-play - literally - little kids just play and have fun, they follow their heartfelt need for joy…..and that joy is infectious for others. It LIFTS others.

The effect we have on others affects us, our consciousness, in turn.

We can forget this ‘play for joy’ impulse as we become adults and become enmeshed in social conditioning mindsets…it’s no wonder adult life feels ‘heavier’ than our childhood.

The most successful people ‘play’ still - name anyone and their success is largely due to doing what they love to do. Even if that joy comes from lower ego desires.

We all have to start somewhere.

Bill Gates funds so much now he’s got a persona fortune - we cant help but share the joy….selfishness doesnt last long, deep inside we’re more interested in sharing joy than having personal gratification. It takes some life living to ‘burn through’ those egoic impulses….there’s no wrong path….it all leads to a more open heart and expanded consciousness.

Other methods of momentarily experiencing expanded heart and awareness are routes like meditation, and other deep relaxation techniques.

Binaural beats, and guided meditations many folk find useful, if pure silence of sitting silent meditation is a challenge to a busy mind.

These methods induce an deep relaxed experience beyond our everyday ego mind, where we can touch for a while, a part of self that’s more free, centred, serene, complete, and feels at one with ourselves.

This state is right there in all - just nestling within just behind the earth ego personality layer.

This part of ourselves is always there. Our ego only eclipses it, and cannot destroy it.

We discover it permanently by being the love we are, to all, always.
Unconditionally.

Humanity’s ultimate destiny is this state of heartfelt consciousness - it’s up to each of us, how we live, love and treat each other, that determines whether that’ll take 1 second, or 1 million years.

Experienced it? Not entirely, no.

My experiences in the practise of metaphysics that it is something a person needs to work at from the inside out. Deep breathing and posture is important in order to align the chakras so the energy can flow unobstructed. And the energy is real because it has knocked me off my feet and can send me into convulsions.

Not to promote the use of drugs but the only way I have been able to make progress is by a combination of smoking and vocalisations. My thinking is, the smoking relaxes my body and grounds my energies, and the vocalisations are breaking up the frequencies I carry, and so I can release them out. This is just me, so unless you are similar to me this might not be the right approach.

I own books that teach visualisations for balancing the hemispheres of the brain, for example, but have not had a whole lot of success, had more success with vocalisations, but I do believe in the methods. If you are a visual person, these methods might work for you.

I've been watching a lot of David Icke lately and he often talks about opening our hearts and experiencing expanded consciousness, but he never says how to do it. So I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows how to do it?

It's not really the case to experience expanded consciousness. You are consciousness in this context.

Therefore it is more an undoing process rather than something to do process.

Going into the heart, means removing unnecessary attention from mind, cutting off identity with mind and this allows attention to sink into the heart intelligence which is more in tune with reality than the mind, which is completely delusional ( except when pure logic is required).
