Eskimo just arrived in UK.....

I am an Eskimo who has just arrived in UK and have been watching your TV adverts....

I was not aware that white people are a minority now and that every relationship is mixed race.

( just to point out that I am not an Eskimo, but that IF I was, then that would be the impression I would get from TV adverts)...😁

Ironically, there's not much diversity within the diversity, as the most common mixed race couple in adverts, it seems to me, is a black male and a white female.

I saw one advert where the above applied, and their child was of Chinese/Oriental origin (Previous marriage? Adopted?)

Yeah, I noticed that also.

I don't watch much TV anyway, but when I do, the adverts go OFF immediately.

I really hope these advertisers are shooting themselves in the foot, as a LOT of people are sick to death of this virtue signaling woke shit.

Advertising is more globally oriented now, replacing the traditional targeting of each individual country. That said, I'm sure there are few countries whose advertising is as 'cosmopolitan' as that in Britain and the USA. The other countries will eventually be the same.

Yes it’s weird because I read somewhere the actual demographic for white britains vs non white is around 80% white 20% ethnic origin.

it’s weird because the average ratio seen in tv adverts is about 75% ethnic 25% white, which is at odds with reality.

It’s a case of monkey see monkey do- if your seeing mixed race couples at least ten times every 15 minutes, you’re more likely to engage in a mixed race relationship.

Id say it’s around 95% white where I live. Go to town and it’s around 85% white. Go to nearest city it’s probably around 70% white.

In the end, we’re all just humans, stinky and pink on the inside.

Except starmer. He’s some kind of space creature.

If I was coloured I’d find the type of advertising we’re talking about here highly offensive.

im talking about the adverts you see where the typical white family is sitting down for dinner or whatever, all around a dining table, and just to the left you’ll see one lonely black person, as if they’re suddenly part of the family.

This might seem inclusive and politically correct, and the advertisers are just following their orders fulfilling their DEI quota, but it is in fact highly offensive to people of colour, and I consider it to be racist.

It reduces the black person into a derogatory position, like they’re there because they’re pitied, almost as if they’re a ‘pet’ of the white family, reminiscent of servants during slavery.
If I was a coloured person I’d be a militant panther.

I'm the product of a mixed marriage, and very, very proud of the fact! Yes my mother was a woman and my father was a man { I'VE MANAGED TO NARROW THIS DOWN TO DAD BEING EITHER A MEMBER OF THE SUTHERLAND AND ARGYLL  HIGHLANDERS, OR, THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT}🤔:classic_rolleyes:

Mam worked for the NAAFI and was frightened of walking back to her billet in the dark, so the lads always took turns to escort her back to her billet

{ some even stopped with her until daybreak to save her being so scared !}👍

Are you sure it was the parachute regiment and not another aerial profession? It might have been a stork that brought you in to this world.

An Eskimo won some money on the lottery { I think it was the snowball ?} he decided to visit the U.K. for a month's holiday and hired a car for the holiday!

It broke down on the M25 and he called the A.A. out, the breakdown man checked his car over and said 'It looks to me as if you've blown a seal sir'! The Eskimo said 'well, that was never proved, AND they dropped the case, but more to the point, what the fuck is wrong with my car'?😡

Yes ive noticed the trend too - i hate it. They’re distorting reality for political motivation.

I agree.

We have Febreeze depicting a staid, beige 'Karen' and a colourful, relaxed ethnic lady telling her she buys an inferior product, it's the super fandango smart chemical dispenser you need for fresh air Karen.

Does yours have smart programming? No, because i know ALL the models out there and yours doesn't and obviously your to stupid to read the label of the product your buying, whereas I'm a savvy shopper.

There's so many i could rip apart, and do when I'm watching them, less and less nowadays thank God.

We know TV is mostly fantasy, but to twist that fantasy to depict a society that it doesn't even reflect for political reasons is mind boggling and itself racist to white people.

That’s a fair point, I wasn’t looking at it from a perspective of white racism but you’re right, there are loads of ads at the moment reducing white people to derogatory positions just like there are ads reducing coloured people to those same inferior positions, and the whole thing is not reflective of this society we live in, so it extremely racist to both sides of the racial divide they try to maintain.

Also I’ve noticed a lot of comedies, dramas and ads that focus on making men seem useless and sub human, also Netflix/iplayer stuff that promotes women killing men, as if it’s funny or something to celebrate.

If it were the other way round there’d be uproar.

Eskimo in the UK? My first thought was that this must be because of climate change. I’m guessing you got here via boat and not float on a drifting iceberg?

The tv shows is interesting. I don’t watch much tv but when I’m in a hotel I sometimes flick through the tv and you’re right. The disproportionate amount of ethnics or non whites is staggering. Except on game shows where the contestants all seem to be middle class white people from Essex.
