I did by demonstrating a pattern of similar false reports in the past and the fact the article relied on unnamed sources.

I never go out of the house with official ID unless I'm going somewhere that requires a passport, so I hope that answers your question, and I don't belive it is a matter of time where officials here say, "papers please". Every attempt to bring that state of affairs has failed because we Brits don't want it!!

Personally, unless I'm driving somewhere, I don't take any ID. Not even a debit card. I carry cash. I don't even take a cell phone with me.

That might be one reasons for these war rumblings now / again as in war syndrome public will put up with much more personal intrusions like ID papers 

and governments can race through more Orwellian measures 

trading freedom for security again

Same with migration  society now needing secure id etc whilst those pushing digital id stuff are same who flooded the borders in the first place on purpose

Even though authoritarianism is emerging, I'm still optimistic that we won't end up locked into a digital prison under a dictatorship, but that's not to say there won't be upcoming tribulations. It's likely to be a 'darkest before dawn' type scenario. Keep an eye on the morning star that will herald in the new dawn. The cabal will then be a thing of the past. The hunan spirit is much stronger than anything the dark cabal can muster.
