If someone can Identify as a female while being a biological male, then surely one should be able to identify as a 22 year old while being chronologically older. I agree! And if I ever see a sign that says “Kids Eat Free!”… yep, I identify as a kid and fill my plate.

Perhaps, the musings of a child and something that would be whimsical. However, there are a few people who have at least claimed to have reversed the biological age, and arguably more importantly, at least according to Bryan Johnson, a tech developer, slowed down ageing. Do you have any names to these people? On 7/20/2024 at 8:03 PM, Fluke said: Another man on my radar is Andrew Sinclair, a biologist who studies longevity. Lots of articles and interviews from him, particularly focusing on fasting and a plant based diet. He uses the term "adversity memetics". Essentially the theory is that it is good for the body to go through some distress, whether that be cold and hot therapy, hunger, or the strain we go through while exercising. And of course exercise is essential along with sleep. Every time you eat; you raise insulin and lower growth hormone (the hormone that keeps you alive longer). Also to note that certain plants have anti aging properties in them On 7/20/2024 at 8:03 PM, Fluke said: I wonder what you guys think. Is this simply against natural law? For instance, if you couldn't "reverse ageing" but at the very least slow it down, would that not be a good thing in the long run for quality of life? I'm for all theories, adrenochrome and all. Speaking of which, Marina Abramović looks good for 77. I started this thread not so long ago; but did not get much luck with it Its about the work of the late Dr Peter Gaviso work on Wave Genetics and Reverse ageing. This is one of David Ickes research points (and he made a video on this pathificlly on this topic a few years ago) Originally they claimed that the treatment would reverse ageing then later it stated that it would only slow it down

RobinJ
The obsession with anti aging is just another media construct. Why would anyone but into that crap? Perhaps a better topic would be; why don't we have elders and wisdom keepers anymore?

They do have elders and 'community leaders' for ethnic minorities rolled out whenever there's some trouble like riots and gang wars. It's the white Brits who've been cut off from their elders as part of the planned demolition of our society, they didn't start phoning round the leadership during the 'far right' riots last summer. Just send people to prison instead.
Fluke
I think those that are focussing on the vanity of this are missing the point. Extending biological age by living as healthy as possible is surely a good thing and leads to a better quality life. The world will move away from junk food and alcohol. Mark my words this will be huge.

NeoScota
When you attain the philosopher's stone it is the hearts gold, the integration of the light body which as a side perk, illuminated away all those wrinkles. The seed and transferrence of love energies from a being in this state to another being (in this state or potentially able to reach this state), is the greatest anti-aging effect you will ever see as lightbodied male/female and lightbodied female/male come together (erm quite literally!) And the whole world would feel and benefit from this golden explosion of Powerful Love. The trans gender thing has its roots in this, which is why it has been hijacked. People feeling the opposite sex is their inner self beginning the path of this heiros gamos, which the medical establishment shuts down via hor-moans and mutilation. Some do feel better for transitioning, usually the ones who are purely i to the fetishism or those who needed to experience as their opposite in spirit.....but for most part, the reality doesn't solve the angst. That is because this is a spiritual matter, not a physical one.

Not sure if 33 is correct at least for men I know a man who didn't get attention until his late thirties from opposite sex but by then was married a with kids. The vanity stuff is aimed at females mainly, we know they have a shorter shelf life than men.

There are a fair few young women who find mature men sexually attractive, but that's mature rather than decrepit, my late 30s and early 40s were a carousel of mid 20s girls, I couldnt walk into a coffee shop with getting a date with Lithuanian barista . Non of them stuck around for long, but that wasnt really the point of the exercise

Yes, it's not that unusual, it's more unusual for it to last , there is a huge culture gap that is harder to navigate than simple biological age

If you had to make yourself half AI to do it, would you still want it? Or, let's say, take a jab....or a quantum dot... If folks only care about how young you look so they can get a leg over, no wonder society is a pile of shite. Some growing up is required. Having eternal youth without wisdom is just as vacuous as a kardashian reality show.

Unfortunately people will always do things that are motivated by their primal instincts. I don't think we will ever change that.
