From the Mineral Kingdom's perspective

We are the A.I. from the perspective of the Mineral Kingdom.

Some shamans have already embeded themselves into crystals where they can reboot themselves at will. May be this is the way to conserve our memories if we cannot escape from this realm.

 

Some dead people i.e. spirits are hanging by tree branches if you can see them. Faces of spirits are hanging like fruits.

Some trees are ancient and ancient spirits occupy the trees and considered gods inhaibt in it. People worship these trees. So these spirits are of course intelligent due to knowledge accumulated through the ages.
