Leftbrain has technology and software to help artists collect lost royalties.

Royalty payment and determining who is entitled to how much is a very complex issue, many get lost in that process and often don't even know they were owed anything.

As the thread progresses we can look at each of those hurdles to overcome individually to help the readers create a mental image of the administration of those funds.

The documentary film "Samsara" is a visual extravaganza coupled with a unique and compelling score of it's own.

This next video is a homage to Samsara presenting spectacular imagery and a score chosen by the producers of this clip to carry the scenes they selected, enjoy ;

Van Morrison's "Have I Told You Lately" ;

Song featured in the film "As Good As It Gets" starring Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt and Greg Kinear.

You can hear this song when Jack pops it in his car player as part of a playlist of his favorite tunes he cobbled up for the long trip.

Jim Croce was a favourite of my Mam, especially this song ...

Totally agree. Truly gifted artist. We can only imagine the wonders he might have produced had his life not been cut short tragically.

Best version ever of Mr Bojangles IMHO ....

He appeared in the 60s "Ocean Eleven" with Frank Sinatra.

So much vitality and charisma. Another great and charter member of the famous "Rat Pack".

Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco, but that was only metaphorical. Sammy Davis Jr. left his eye in San Bernardino, and that was all too real.

Departing Las Vegas for a Hollywood recording session, Davis was driving through the Cajon Pass on Route 66 when he came upon a strange sight. A car had stopped in front of him, apparently in preparation for turning around at Kendall Drive.

Davis, who was new to driving and not very good at it, plowed his new lime green Cadillac convertible into the car. His face bounced off the cone in the middle of the steering wheel.

It was just after 7 a.m. on Nov. 19, 1954, 65 years ago.

Thank goodness we have evolved and now have collision airbags that shower the driver with shrapnel 😁

Some things just don't want to stop being tragic.

It always amazes me how, after so many years, no one has ever improved upon the windscreen wiper!

Fantastic clip from an equally fantastic movie ...

Good find 😎

I own the movie and cherish it. The visuals are rich, the score impressive and good acting and a story to die for. Kid friendly too. Robin Williams was born for that part. A comedian become an actor.

Super grateful I don't have to manage a circus like that. Just imagine the bickering and backstabbing. Thankfully most of that is ironed out discretely and fans  are given the icing on top.

No wonder one might forego a percentage of what is due them just to not get tangled into that convoluted mess of an industrial process.

During the disco era, on Friday night at our local club it was the hip night where the rockers and stoners congregated and the music was pop and rock. Then, on Saturday it was strictly disco. All chromed out and fasionable, this song would always cause a mad rush to the dance floor.

The Bee Gees had a tremendous success during the disco period. One of their songs that set the pace and became seen as the spirit of disco and was featured in the movie "Stay'n Alive" starring John Travolta,
