Monty Python's "Life of Brian" movie infuriated the church and her devout followers. Admittedly they were pioneers pushing that line that defines societal taboos. For this I applaud them and consider this film a rare gem of comedy and satire.

Here in one of the final scenes can be found, in my opinion, this most uplifting and funny songs ever worked into a cinematic plot-line..bravo!

" Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" by Eric Idle, enjoy ;

Precisely, Tyrian Purple. There was a time only royalty were permitted to present themselves wearing that hue.

The Phoenicians would harvest 10,000 snails to make 1 gram of this dye. Very expensive. Made the Phoenicians rich and affluent with the nobles.

HTML color code.

If modern-day rock can be imagined like a massive oak with branches that reach out in all directions then, digging far down into the oldest roots, we find Buddy Holly. This phenomenal musician went on to inspire so many musicians including the Beatles and The Rolling Stones that considered him a key influence.

Tragedy took his life during a storm in a small aircraft that crashed with a young pilot at the console. Richie Valens and The Big Bopper also perished.

Not to say he doen't have several other hits like "Peggy Sue" and the sequel "Peggy Sue Gets Married" and lots more but next is the song most consider to be his best, "That'll Be The Day" on the Ed Sullivan Show;
