Anyone experienced the rampant cernsorship on Reddit and mainstream social media platforms like X?

I've been a part of some subs on Reddit that were banned for talking about conspiracy-related material, the last sub I was on called SaturnStormCube got banned for talking about the control that the Jews have on the world stage. Lots of censorship on Twitter and Facebook too. Is this type of stuff just getting worse and worse?

Yes it's getting worse. I don't use Reddit myself, only go on FB and X to read other people's posts, but people are getting censored and banned a lot now. There was a buzz about freedom of speech when Elon Musk took over Twitter/X but he's back pedalled due to pressure from advertisers, even going as far as visiting Auschwitz to get forgiven.  Gab is less censored at the moment though.

Yep I don’t even bother with Reddit anymore.

After I mentioned things about being a genetically modified human after getting covid jabbed, and no one in their right mind would get experimental gene therapy etc etc basically no one will reply to my comments, not even up or downvotes, even on unrelated subs, it’s just gone deathly quiet like what happened to me on Facebook, radio silence, no movement, no communication, like shadow banned but super covert

Here’s an example of the result of speaking your mind on social media, I’m literally speechless, which is of course what they want

Thought Police: Home Visit For UK Man Who Expressed Anger Online About Sydney Bishop Being Stabbed by Islamist

APRIL 19, 2024

A video out of the UK shows a man being visited at home by two police officers and an NHS psychologist after he expressed anger online about the stabbing of a Bishop in Sydney by an Islamist.

Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel was stabbed by a 16-year-old boy at the Assyrian Christ the Good Shepherd church on Monday night, an attack that was caught on camera.

The teenager walked right up to the bishop as he was giving a sermon and furiously jabbed at him with a knife while shouting “Allahu Akbar” as onlookers desperately tried to wrestle him to the ground.

After the teen was pinned down, he could be seen smirking.

Now a new video has emerged showing how an Orthodox Christian man in the UK received a home visit from police and a psychologist for reportedly posting online, “Christians must stand up.”

The clip shows a female officer explaining how authorities had “a few concerns” about what the man had posted on social media.

Herein is the root of the problem. ALL social media networks, whether that is Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, Pinterest etc etc are nothing more than advertising platforms, and that is how they make their money. YOUR posts and content on those platforms are just "the bits in between the adverts".

You will never have any 'freedom of speech' on any platform that relies on advertising revenue, not while the advertisers are the big corporate giants pushing and promoting the whole 'woke agenda'.

Indeed so, and it's nothing new as the same thing's true for commercial radio and TV. The advertisers are the real 'customers' as they're paying for it, and we're the bait to attract the advertisers. Mind you, it's our money which the advertisers are using to pay for their adverts, as we are the advertisers' customers, so it's a shame we (the people as a whole) don't realise our power in all this and boycott the companies which are oppressing us.

I even worry about forums like this. I'm on Avalon, too, and when I tried to catch up with the latest news overe there today, my server wouldn't let me access the site any more because it's "unsafe" (never used to be before).  WTH!!!

I haven't used social networks from about 5y ago. Today I use only this platform and my FB account is abandoned. I was banned in FB after posting about political issues in my country. YT only promotes content if is it located in a profitable area. YT comments were also controlled by the algorithm and I suppose today by AI, to users say only what it is allowed.  On Twitter, in 2020, accounts I used to follow, were banned (David Icke was one) and other lost magically hundreds or thousands of followers. Anything I wrote was ghost-banned. That's the worst censorship, banning you without telling you.

Reddit, Quora and similar never attracted my attention. They are the first results in 6oo66le searches, so they must be only bullshit. The few times I got in to read, I detected they were powered versions of FB and Twitter, where users are a bloodthirsty army of matrix agents. If you say "white" about something, when the mainstream idea is "black", a storm of bullying will fall over you, and reports, as well.

I once read in Quora, somebody questioned the FB censorship the same way you are doing here. One highly reputed user replied: "They don't want people like you over there". Nice answer. I realized there's no more than a zombi herd.

So I gave up. You have to be a dumbass to own a social network account. If you're a free thinker, you won't be welcome.

Now, you're not asking, but I will tell you: Free and critical thinkers use not only to leave behind internet, but "real life" social networks. We are neither welcome over there.

Bye.

The whole thing is bought and paid for.

It’s all about how people are ‘seen’. Seen as this, seen as that. The latest this, the latest that.
Even the most spiritual guru conspiracy die hard fanatic who has a social media account is only there to sell their organic supplements and pay off influencers so they can retire on a beach in Thailand, £ is the bottom line. That, and political influence over how people think…..
No substance, no backbone, just shit on top of shit. Leave your brain at the login page.

Feck it all off and live your life

Update: I tried again today and it worked again.

It was probably another attack on the forum (these things happen every now and then, apparently).

I only ever browse Reddit when it comes up in my search. I was reading about Manchester bands and a few people were just calling Morrissey a nazi and "of course his a terrible person" without actually offering reasons why he is a racist. And one said he holds dodgy views. That means views that dont align with theirs.

The place is full of npcs.

But I don't think that just happens on social media it happens in real life. That mentality. I've noticed it in older people than genz millennials and even gen xers. Especially among socialists but whatever their politics npcs. Whether social media has caused some of this is another question. But the need to be seen as right rather doing right and the fact that they are terrified of being seen as being bad boils my blood lol.

Yep, although I have come across one or two decent topics on Reddit (things like Glitches in the Matrix) on the whole it is a giant honeypot designed to sway people and create and compound consensus reality. As ever, if you screen anything through the lens of 'if it popular it is not good for you/humanity, and if it is not popular/derided it probably is good for you'. These big platforms are essentially giant 'tuning devices' designed to tune everyone into a limited frequency/thought field.

I agree. I had this thought yesterday as I was driving (I do my best thinking when driving or on the toilet 🤣) 'in years gone by, people got their validation of how 'good/righteous' they are through God/Church and communities, now they get it all from Social media'. As you say, there is a crossover, but Social Media is replacing all the prior ways.

Yep true, it’s all about image. Like if you go out in designer clothes people coo and respect you, but that’s bollocks, if respect can be bought then it’s societies skewered view of respect which is wrong , hence everything being about image, to be seen as this or that.

I know millionaires who dress like tramps, do they get respect if they go out looking like a hobo? Only if the people doing the looking know they’re a millionaire

There’s the instant grams, and the tweeting- anything that doesn’t align with certain false narratives… so much for free speech… or so I have heard.

Perhaps most know, there was an ad campaign in the US some 90 years ago that really changed history in the diamond industry. The De Beers Company, easy enough to look up. I have often wondered- what if humans simply weren’t enamored by owning shiny things? Then the De Beers blokes could have never been so successful.

🤩

Maybe ‘humans’ isn’t the perfect word here. ‘Individuals’ might fit better. We all at least look human…
