Fair play to him though, I did read the other day that ITV are now keen to jump on the 'popularity bandwagon' by reviving the old TV game show 'Bullseye' - clearly somebody somewhere also has a surplus job-lot of speedboats and tea-makers to get rid of.

And just like that...

Iconic ITV quiz Bullseye is back with household name new host

Quote

England cricket legend Andrew Flintoff is resurrecting one of Birmingham's best-loved TV institutions - just in time for Christimas. ITV has confirmed the return of Bullseye with the former Top Gear presenter as the host.

The 46-year-old will present a Christmas special of the iconic game show, originally made by ATV in Birmingham and fronted by comedian Jim Bowen from 1981 to 1995. Flintoff said: "I love the darts and Bullseye was one of my favourite shows as a kid. Can't quite believe I'll get to host this Christmas special."

He also gave a nod to the legendary host, adding: "You can't beat a bit of Bully!" Flintoff TV appearances have been limited since a serious incident during a Top Gear filming session in 2022 that resulted in facial and rib injuries at Dunsfold Aerodrome's test track.

So they've chosen a former cricket player to present a quiz show based around darts? 🤔

Well I won't be watching this as it will no doubt be rubbish.

How can Littler hold THE SUN newspaper up like that in such a happy blase’ manner ?

He’s from Runcorn, Cheshire. - Just 16 miles from Liverpool.

Liverpudlians HATE The Sun newspaper, with a vengeance. - This is due to the tabloid’s coverage of the 1989 Hillsborough Disaster when 96 Liverpool football fans were crushed to death.

The paper is BANNED in Liverpool and HATED in the city and the whole of the wider North West.

Of which Littler will be TOTALLY AWARE.

MILLIONS will DESPISE him because of this.

Note the number “96”.

People don’t understand the depth of feelings Liverpool people have against THE SUN newspaper
