They also put notices on everything.

I bought one of these highly recommended coffee flasks (brilliant by the way) and it came with a load of extra health warnings on the user/warranty sheet specifically for California.

They were doing that in the 80s. Buy something in a hardware stored and it would carry a warning notice. California is the epitome of the overarching administrative state. You'd be amazed at how all aspects of life there are regulated. I lived there for many years and saw how workers' rights were throttled by the influence of big business on state government. For example, if a person was injured at work and was unable to return to the type of work he was doing, State law provided vocational rehabilitation that was paid for by the defendant insurance carrier. In the late 80s, we saw excellent VR plans in place that got injured workers back into the workforce. Intense insurance lobbying saw VR's demise and it turned into a voucher system that wasn't worth anything.

Maybe the people of California will stop listening to the dipshit celebs and start using the brain they were born with, and drop all political beliefs and start taking a stance.

The problem is California is not doing this on their own they getting this from the UN or world economic forum or some thing. And this part of the great rest in the name of climate change.

Saw another one today. In a catalogue, someone was selling boxes of pine 'fatwood' which is high-resin content wood used for starting barbecues and suchlike. It's simple pine sticks taken from near the core of the log. California demands a cancer warning on it. No other State in the Union requires this nonsense. Just our of curiosity, I might email the California department of health and ask them how many cases of cancer have been contracted in the State through the use of pine sticks.

I know it little off topic but the most liberal places in world have smoking labels showing cancer and health risk and anti smoking but more pro weed smoking well the conservative more anti big government and private sector when came to smoking.

But there is push around the world to ban smoking they would like to do that now but can’t to that but are trying.
