Best motivational methods?

So I was experimenting with motivational methods. And I found two ways.

So the first is doing something out of love. This is a really healthy way to motivate yourself, no stress and it's based upon truth, if you love that thing.

Second method was using fear, guilt, shame or doing it for someone else.

This last method to me seems maybe a little unhealthy as it induces stress and it's also based on lies of fear for example...

HOWEVER....in practice. In terms of actually getting stuff done. And collecting energy to work on a project. The last method beats the first by a million miles. You will take far more action I found.

So it's a puzzle to me.

I wonder if there is a healthy solution and balance? I guess maybe is it possible to use fear and guilt or whatever to collate the energy needed and then transmute it somehow?

I'm really not sure and any suggestions welcome.

I will share my current idea on how to transmute.

1. You have no motivation. What does this mean? Means your movement centers as Gurdieff would refer, are not really functional. They require energy

2. Need to get some energy where from? E(nergy in) motion. Use the most powerful ones. Fear guilt shame. If you don't have anything to feel bad about, fake it. Usually the mind freaks out about limited amount of time here, so the age old method of imaging yourself on the deathbed not achieving what you wanted will work

3. Now you're ready to fking go!

4. But ...you don't want to hold onto guilt etc not healthy. So you transmute by taking massive action . This reactivates the motion centers and they now in function and balance with other centers. You transmute that dark energy shit into light by taking massive action

Feedback welcome

I guess it depends on the situation because it's a big subject. Some things are naturally fearful, fear and guilt are likely natural survival processes if in moderation. I get anxiety over public speaking, and will only do it if I'm more afraid of the consequences of not doing it.

I'm retired now, so need to motivate myself. Getting stuff done does feel good, better than lazing about, even though it needs an injection of energy to get started; but once started and the ball is rolling, so to speak, the energy flows by itself I find.

It also helps when I'm in control and using my creativity, rather than being told what to do in detail. When I was working, I got told the projects which needed doing, and deadlines but could contribute my ideas in how to get there, which helped as I had some responsibility and ownership.
