A weekend of coincidences

Been struggling in my life for the last few months. Felt very alone and disconnected from God.

Then…

Friday evening just gone, I’m in my local pub in our small village with my partner, who has been struggling a lot more than me.

Suddenly a lady appears all smiles at our table. My partner Michelle immediately recognises her - they know each other from art therapy classes they both attend in nearby town. This lady had helped Michelle a couple of weeks ago during one of her anxiety attacks. Quick chat, met her husband, all good, and we went our separate ways.

Saturday evening I randomly texted my old best mate who I had not spoken with for over a year, not seen for 3 years as he has moved to Dorset - we exchanged a few pleasant messages.

Sunday lunchtime I went to same local pub with my Dad for our traditional couple of lunchtime beers. Dad went home and I decided to stay for another.

In walks lady and husband that I met with Michelle Friday. Get chatting. Turns out the husband was at school with and was mates with my old best mate. He then heads off home to watch football. Lady stays chatting with me about Michelle, mental health etc. Turns out she is the first awake person I have met in our little village. Happy days! Michelle came and joined us and the talking continues.

finally say goodbyes and head home with Michelle to cook Sunday dinner. Found out that this lady has a son called Marshall.

Sat down to eat dinner, could not decide what to watch in TV, finally settled on Don’t Look Up.

during film, the psycho CEO of Bash mobiles is on stage launching product and waving phone around. Date on phone was 12th November, as it was on Sunday!

Di Caprio’s character has a son called Marshall.

Monday morning first thing I get a call from cricket club chairman asking if I wanted to work for him for a couple of weeks helping refurbish a local funeral directors.

I’m there an hour later. 1st off, I’m clearing room ready for decorating, removing picture off wall, it’s one of those ‘such and such is licensed to do etc etc’

the name - Matthew Chandler.

In pub that evening, the new landlady came over and confirmed the numbers she has booked in for our cricket club dinner - 33.

I feel good!!

Had very similar experiences throughout life at different points, I think it's when I'm most concious. I made a post like this as I had a big one recently, it's in the paranomal section.
