Natural ways of healing Chronic Sinusitis?

My 38 year old sister and her 4 year old son have chronic sinusitis. My sister has had it since age 12, and her son is having the same.

She has tried virtually ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you can imagine, from conventional maninstream medicine, to homeopathy, and regular steaming, essential oils, etc, and it doesn't go away. She has also changed the house where she lives and it doesn't subside. Mucus is constant in winter and summer and now I am very concerned not only for her but for her kid, it breaks my heart that he has to adjust his speech in order for the mucus not to get in the way of his breathing when he talks. Can anyone help with any miraculous cure? Many thanks.

chronic hayfever/rhinitis
sinus troubles and then u get asthma from the post nasal drip.

i find dust and pollen are the main culprits.
pet fur also.

- now using an air purifier at night, 4 hours run, seems to help a bit
wanted to kick myself for buying one when i could have easily just DIY one with a fan and some HEPA filters! xDDD

- I also vacuum my room like 2-3 times a week, it helps a bit

i gave up on pharma meds.

i smoke cigarettes - aggravates the condition a bit but i dont care, it just feels "nice" goin through my system.

i have 2 cats, at first it was bad, red eyes, sniffles, sneezing alot...
but somehow i have gotten used to them - i can be around them, play with them with no trouble at all now.
they do not sleep in my room though, for reference.

i was told that local honey works wonders. maybe try that if you can get local.
i could not get any so havent tried it.

when i was back in high school, during a few exams when i was suffering, (literally runny nose drippin on exam papers xD) -
i went out to the smokers corner, and had like just 2 puffs of weed - cannabis - joint from friends over there....
it almost instantly stopped the sinus troubles and lasted for like 3-4 hours.

i have also tried acupunture, which works. there was a chinese woman doing it near me, so authenticity was there.
the moments she put the needles in at those points on my head and around my face,
there was like real pressure being released, i could hear it go "tsss".
amazing experience!
would not suggest driving after an acupuncture session. always left me light headed, and my entire awareness on a different level.

hope this helps in some way.

i am 38 years old too.
for reference,
i remember "developing?" this condition around the age of 6-7,
directly after being vaccinated at school
