Mikhail Liebestein
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12228381/Wagner-mercenaries-killed-RUSSIAN-missile-strikes.html Wagner mercenaries storm Russian headquarters in Rostov-on-Don and tanks set up blockade: Prigozhin vows to march on Moscow to take out 'evil' military top brass as Putin says he's inciting CIVIL WAR and Kremlin charges him with armed mutiny Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin on Friday declared that his 25,000-strong force has taken control of headquarters in Rostov-on-Don Video shared on social media appeared to show Wagner troops entering the Interior Ministry building, and tanks and troops on the streets Prigozhin made the move in fury at what he claimed was Moscow's attack on his men, and said he intends to march to Moscow to take on defense chiefs Troops from Russia's Wagner militia appeared to have marched into the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don on Friday, leading to fears of a coup led by Wagner mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin. In Rostov-on-Don residents have been told to stay in their homes by government officials, but some were seen out observing what was happening, even livestreaming the stand off on their cell phones. Footage shared on social media appeared to show Wagner troops outside the Southern Military Headquarters - which plays a crucial role in managing the Ukraine war. Rob Lee, a senior fellow at the Philadelphia-based Foreign Policy Research Institute who specializes in Russian defense, said: 'The Telegram channel says there are soldiers in the building and there are up to 300 Wagner fighters in Rostov.'

Tetragrammaton
Yevgeny Prigozhin is making the claim that supposed Russian military helicopters fired on positions held by Wagner Group. This is all very murky stuff. It smacks of heavy "dirty tricks" here. Why would the military fire on their own?! Could U.S, or UK special forces have got access to a Russian helicopter for a false flag? Or possibly the comms between Wagner personnel was intercepted & changed to create confusion? Even worse some military grade jedi-mind-trick was done on Yevgeny Prigozhin, affecting his judgement. All very murky nasty stuff going on here.

Sarahjane
Wagner is 4 hours away from Moscow now. They keep shooting down attack helicopters according to a few news channels and Moscow has put anti terrorism measures in place, including machine guns on the outskirts. By all accounts, Wagner want complete control and want Putin out. Prigozian ( maybe spelt wrong) vows to win what's already being called The Battle of Moscow.
Sarahjane
This situation is moving very quickly. Poland has gone onto alert and our useless UK government are having a cobra meeting. An oil depot has been blown up, allegedly by Russia to stop Wagner using it. I can't imagine what will happen if Wagner actually make it to Moscow.

Fifth element
Putin is an ex-KGB agent and not someone who would be surprised by the actions of an associate. He knew there was a potential coup attempt coming, but because Prigozhin was in charge of the mercenary Wagner Group did not arrest Prigozhin prematurely. Those who want Kiev to continue in Ukraine, with all the money laundering and criminal activity it supports, have money at their disposal and have bribed Prigozhin. This is a Hail Mary, as the maneuver is called in football, a last-chance maneuver with scant chance of success. Of course Prigozhin will be arrested and executed for treason. The Rothchild banking empire, sinking fast and going bankrupt, was part of the plot and the source of the huge bribe Prigozhin was given. BRICS will be the winner in these banking wars, and Russia is a founder and king-pin in the BRICS network. NATO is another loser in the Ukraine battles, but this latest maneuver to invite the US to join their struggles will fail too.
Nemuri Kyoshiro
My knowledge of modern Russia and of its current conflicts is pretty sparse and gained mostly from the MSM. However, looking at the western press, you'd think Moscow was about to fall before a mercenary army of roughly 25,000 men. I'm sure there ate elements in the west that would enjoy seeing that happen, but I can't believe that such a small force, no matter how well-armed, could take the capital. Also, Moscow is only defended with machine guns and a few tanks as the press seems to think. Is Putin that inept? Maybe someone on here with more knowledge about this can summarize what might be going on.

Dragon Slayer
Nato Air Defender 23 concluded yesterday coincidentally. I believe this is a Nato invasion under the guise of Wagner Group. Possibly elite infantry and special forces. I hope I am wrong. God speed Vladimir...

dumbcritic
Wow, I guess the "attempted coup" is over? What a pretty quick way for some to make ~$6B. Not a bad ''business model.''

Grumpy Grapes
There's a BBC World Service Radio programme on the Wagner Group today ("The Explaination", Sunday 25th June), but intriguingly the programme was scheduled several weeks ago, as it is in the TV listing magazines.

Nemuri Kyoshiro
The Guardian's staff were wetting themselves in anticipation of Putin falling. According to them, it was only a matter of time before Moscow fell and Russia plunged into a bloodbath, thus letting their favourite Ukrainian despot expand his territory. As for COBRA. That's an apt name for a bunch of snakes.
