Went to local park and this crow landed on my back, and followed me all over. What does this mean?

Hi people,

My sister went to my local park and this lovely crow landed on my back and arm not aggressive at all, then followed me around for a good hour while in the park. But went when i left. Any ideas, does this have any meaning or is it a friendly bird? Thanks

Never seen one we have crows and doves with some sea gulls.

We have all sorts where I live, we've even got a seagull who quite often just wonders into the kitchen to pinch the cat's grub. 😅

Usually Crows symbolize something sinister, or maybe I've watched to many movies.

Interesting photo OP. It looks too small for a crow and may not be a blackbird which has orange beaks. Could be a Brewer's Blackbird which has blue/green tinged feather.

Whether Crows are good or bad omen depends on which side you are on. It's good for some people.

There are blue jays in the UK. I've seen many, they are fantastic divers and love peanuts. 🤗

Nature's a strange and amazing thing.

It certainly is, my hubby was driving home from work one day, when there were hundreds of Jackdaws that had stopped all the traffic, apparently there was this injured Jackdaw in the road & they were obviously trying to save it, has luck had it there was a RSPCA van in the queue of traffic who picked the bird up and took it.

Another time when I were driving, I had to stop while a mother and her young ducklings crossed the road & the on coming traffic had also stopped, bought a tear of happiness to my eye.🦆

Schoolgirls face a Hitchcock-style nightmare as murder of crows launch a wave of attacks on the walk to school in south London suburb

In an echo of the Hitchcock movie The Birds, James Allen's Girls' School in Dulwich Village has had a warning to remain vigilant in case of attack from a gang of ... crows.

Most likely to attack during breeding season.

Here's a very nice website with 11 things you never knew about the jackdaw, the bird that just loves people, 👍

Yeah we have a road like that near here....a pond in the middle of a complex of offices....and they cross in the evening....so organised...the cars always stop. I remember once though someone didn't and someone got very upset that it was such a narrow miss.

There's also a very sad story in the news this week of a Dad who got run over trying to let some ducks cross the road.
