Grumpy Owl
To be honest, this 'story' is becoming quite tedious now, and the fact that the click-bait news media outlets are all 'dripping' out a never-ending stream of 'articles' just leads me to think that as with the Nicola Bulley case, this is all just a massive distraction. The 'facts' that we have so far are: Philip Schofield is 'gay' (who cares really) after 'coming out' in 2020 He's had one 'affair' with a younger man who also worked at ITV Studios He lied about this to his co-host and his bosses He was forced to resign from This Morning and then from ITV altogether Was there really any point in him doing his 'interview' with both The Sun and the BBC? Nobody cares, he'll soon end up somewhere else (perhaps back at the BBC!) and this will all be forgotten about. Unless someone comes forward with some really lurid revelations, then all this current media coverage is just distraction fodder. 2
Anti Facts Sir
And why all the redirection to mental health and giving a shit about this guy's "suffering". Fucking nonce-sense.

And if they do, what can they do about it anyway?

bamboozooka
in his softball tv interview he was blaming homophobia. Schofield said homophobia was a factor in people who disapproved of their relationship, adding: "If it was male-female then it wouldn't be such a scandal"

They're disgusted by this creep using the gay card to justify his behaviour.

Unless someone comes forward with some really lurid revelations, then all this current media coverage is just distraction fodder. I'm afraid I have to disagree with the 'Nobody cares'. I believe many care, especially if there is a case of grooming to be answered to. And in order to decide if thats the case we need to look at the evidence. There is a photograph that includes Philip and the boy (aged 10) taken at the 2Faced Theatre Company, when Philip was a patron there, and also a number of tweets/follows when he was just 15 years of age. Now on their own this certainly isn't proof but it I believe it definitely warrants investigation as we are talking about the potential grooming of a child. And it's interesting that you say it's becoming 'tedious' because wouldn't that be the plan. "For goodness sake , we're bored of this now, can't we just move on?" They're clever... they know exactly what they are doing. Bit by bit ....pushing the boundaries regarding children and 'relationships', and subconsciously the 'great public' accept it !

There are plenty of articles going on about Leo di Caprio and his young model girlfriends and folk commenting it's a bit skeevy how he only "dates" around age 20-25. Comments on the media from the public are mostly they don't care about Phil and his young mate. In the interview he stated the young man was 20 when they had the liaisons. Still rather skeevy as there was about a 30 year age gap, but the public generally are bored of the story now. Strikes me it's the TV bosses who are more bothered about the whole thing- and cos he denied it and is a married man, not cos it was a gay liaison. Then there are the complaints other presenters made about his alleged attitude towards them and production teams. Oh and a few years ago there was that woman director who got with the 19 year old who played John Lennon. She was in her 40s I think at the time. My mother found that very skeevy. The press did stories on that at the time. Edited June 4 by itsnotallrightjack
alexa
Schofield is an unusual name, I wonder if it was Schofield's ancester who wrote the Schofield Bible, which by the way is a load of untrue nonsense. Cyrus Schofield
Nemuri Kyoshiro
Different spelling. It was Cyrus Scofield. And yes, his commentaries are responsible in large part for the belief in the rapture, which is plaguing churches today. There is no biblical foundation for it.

Nah, it's not just you. I have muted certain words and names on social media to avoid celeb crap so I can focus on more important matters. That being said, it's worse when you follow multiple local news outlets, like News Shopper, Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo, Birmingham Mail, Yorkshire Post, etc, you see the same gossipy stories over and over, as the same stories often get published in each region. It gets tiresome real fast. Edited June 7 by EnigmaticWorld
EnigmaticWorld
The PTB probably like the coverage of all this stuff anyway. It plays into their kabbalist idea of creative destruction of the West and our morals.

Anti Facts Sir
Govt: ITV, now please tell us, has that boy Schofe been telling all his secrets and letting slip what really goes on? ITV: No, I don't know what you could possibly mean. He lied, bullied and behaved like a little shit. But apart from that.... Govt: Excellent! You may go. Thank you.

Observations
From Yahoo " ... During an interview with the Radio Times this week (Elton John) labelled the media and public reaction to Phillip as "totally homophobic". "If it was a straight guy in a fling with a young woman, it wouldn't even make the papers," Elton told the publication ..." Yeah, funny that, if you're straight you're frowned upon for touching a knee, paying a compliment, or whistling at a girl on a Tuesday? And SarahJane has shared images of naked men at a Pride event, to show what is going on in the USA ... ... and now I see there are rainbows everywhere! 1
Observations
I was reading Glastonbury Festival 'news', and saw this ... "During an interview with The Sun, the presenter presented a collection of "blisters and calluses" as he admitted: "I’ve been vaping, a lot." "I didn't realise until suddenly it hurt, but I've been sitting looking up at the sky or out of the window, just staring into space.

Madness 1980's TOTAL MADNESS 2020's I think 'slightly' sounds better, like when I had to tell my first wife's parents she was slightly pregnant, and could I have her hand in marriage, please? Her dad took it quite calmly I thought, and said 'it look's to me like you've had more than her hand, you dirty bastard'! It had happened four months previously on a park bench after I'd missed my bus home, and you know what?, every year for the next thirteen years no matter what the weather, I did an annual pilgrimage to that little old bench! And kicked the shit out of it, and then came the divorce, oh happy days mate! Edited June 28 by Mr Crabtree
