May and the weather has been mental.

15 minute sudden downpours, then sun for an hour then repeat

30 minute hail storm the size of pebbles

thunder, lightning, gales

all we need is snow for a full house

I read somewhere that Germany got hit with hail stones the size of grapefruits, :classic_blink:

I truly hope we don't get more than one foot of snow, because I can only find one of my wellies!🤔 Hopping around on one foot, in the snow, isn't a great look, and it could be extremely dangerous too!🥴

Same folks behind the woke Gillette ad.

From the days when I used to train staff at P&G, most of them were pretty happy as they were a good employer, BUT the Gillette people were not happy with the takeover - don't know why (I was really only interested in their Excel and VBA skills). The pet food help desk people were allowed to take their pets to work and I used to have to let them go out during the breaks to walk the dog!

The same reason that we get Meercats with East European accents advertising car insurance, what better way to get the sheeple used to hearing foreign accents in every community across the U.K.? We're being replaced by new stock! IF they are thick enough to watch the 'soaps' they're thick enough to swallow this bullshit!🥴 Still, never mind 'eh? it'll soon be time to tune into the real world and watch National Treasures like Ant and Dec on the tell lie vision!👍🤔🥴

I'm no racist, but I used to be, way back in the seventies, now I'm in my seventies and have more of a sense of how we're manipulated 24 / 7, Divide and Conquer is a powerful weapon in the hands of the elites, and they know how to wield it to perfection!🥷🥴

I'm in the same age bracket as you Mr Crabtree, and I reckon most folk our age were racist back in the 70s, it's just the way it was in those days.

Living in the North East, there weren't many ethnic minorities around, unlike in other parts of the country, so we were all a bit naiive as regards racism. However, my views changed dramatically when we went to live in the Birmingham area for a short while. My brother-in-law was on the Edgbaston Unity cricket team and I used to travel with him to all of their matches. Most of the players were from the West Indies or Asian and we all had great times together. One night, walking into a packed pub in Handsworth where there were no white faces, was an experience I'll never forget, and I was lucky to have one of the team by my side, or it may have turned into quite a different night out!

We live and learn.

Well put, we do indeed live and learn, I used to visit Varna road, in Balsall Heath the red light district of Brum where a few of my workmates { we never had colleagues then, only workmates}🤔 lived, and we used to visit a few pubs and shebeens { illegal drinking houses } and I'd end up blathered and wake up on a settee or even the floor in some black man's living room. The older West Indians I worked with were a great gang and full of devilment and there was never any serious threats as such, just the occasional bloke who'd had a few too many pints, mouthing off, but, I learned to curb that aggression over time!🤫 Watching West Indians play dominoes in a pub could be a little disconcerting at first, they'd slam their dominoes down with such force, and shouting as if a fight were on the way,  but that was just their style of playing!🤔 Those nights were where I got my passion for curried goat, Jerk Chicken and Jamaican Patties from! Good days, although you never fully appreciate them at the time, full appreciation is only in hindsight!👍

Piss taking sneaky bastards. The cloud in the sky is so flat and thick, and it's so cold in the evenings and the mornings. Today was one of the first really nice days but it was a late starter.

It's these chemical smells that are helping to kill people a big quicker? People are trained to believe that is the smell of clean. And it's so strong, and lasts forever. Some items hold that scent and it doesn't evaporate / wear off. Absolutely sick. I can't stand it.

Is it a coincidence that the cold spring is happening at the same time as highly inflated energy prices coupled with the Ukraine war?  I don't know enough about climate changing technology to decide if it's all been planned or just coincidental.  I haven't seen the advert, I try to avoid them by pre-recording most of my programmes and fast forwarding through them.

I don't want to derail this thread, but I'm wondering why you both think of your generation in those days as being racist? The impression I'm getting (tho I may be wrong) is that they were simply objecting to their homeland being made multicultural, rather than having any dislike for foreigners as such.  I'm a little younger but still remember a lot of these attitudes among my parents' generation which was really about them objecting to the political policy of mass immigration, but this was subsequently turned round into a definition of racism and therefore beyond the pale of acceptable debate.

Yes indeed. When you've seen nuns in Angola, gang raped, and hung upside down before being skinned alive. Perhaps your love of these fucking savages might get re-evaluated.

When you've seen young men, brutally sodomized with their penis cut off and sewn in their mouths.

When you've seen the paunching racks with humans being used as food. Just maybe you'll WAKE UP.

The only difference today is that instead of a military uniform, they wear SUITS.

And you've personally witnessed all of this, yes?

I can give stories of similar atrocities performed by nearly every other country and race in the world, including your own Russia.

Oh, I agree absolutely нахер их всех, включая Украину! You don't have to be Russian to learn it.

I'm probably more fucking British than you, but unlike you, I don't fall for the wonderful, defenceless Ukraine propaganda bullshit.

And yes, personally.

All my time in Balsall Heath, and fifteen years at British Leyland in Longbridge Birmingham, I never saw any of that, the people I was talking about were the Windrush generation, not the rubber dinghy crowd of flotsam and jetsam masquerading as 'poor refugees fleeing persecution' who we're told need help,  by our caring, sharing government! I can see a bloodbath occurring in the not too distant future, and NO, I DID NOT, NOR DO NOT, FALL FOR THE UKRAINE PROPAGANDA BULLSHIT EITHER!
