I don't think it's just about the royals with Liverpudlians though. They fall for bait and deracinate themselves by saying "I'm not English, I'm scouse" etc, all to own the city of London.

I wasn't brought up to be a royalist. Parents were always bemused by it more than anything else. 

 

But the grass isn't always greener. I don't like the way the lemmings act either. But anything that encourages patriotism is a good thing imo. They've gone woke and I think Charlie big ears is quite a dangerous character not the baffoon his painted out to be.
