Worlld's population set to plummet - How do they know?

The Club of Rome says that the world population will reach a high of 8.8 billion then shoot down very quickly. This could happen rapidly if governments raise incomes, and begin sex education instructions for the working class people.

The forecast is apparently good news for the environment. Becasue there are too many working class people in the world, who are putting pressure on nature , causing climate change and putting a strain on resources. If they go, pressure on the planet should start to ease, along with all the  associated social and political tensions people bring.

But the club of rome caution that falling birthrates alone will not solve the planet’s environmental problems, which are  caused by the excess consumption by a wealthy minority.

One of the authors of the report, Ben Callegari, pictured below, said the findings were cause for optimism. “We still face significant challenges from an environmental perspective. We need a lot of effort to address the current development paradigm of overconsumption and overproduction.”

Previous studies have painted a grimmer picture. Last year, the UN estimated the world population would hit 9.7 billion by the middle of the century and continue to rise for several decades afterwards, which would be disastrous.

This new projection, released on Monday, was carried out by the Earth4All. They were commissioned and well paid by the Club of Rome for a Growth study.

The study states existing policies not enough to limit global population to below 9 billion in 2046 and then decline to 7.3 billion in 2100. This is too little too late:  The results in ecological and climate collapse, the likelihood of regional societal collapses rises throughout the decades to 2050, as a result of deepening social divisions. The risk is worst in the poorer countries.”

Governments across the world would need to significantly increase taxes and bring in new taxes ,to invest in a new system – it estimates human numbers could hit a high of 8.5 billion as early as 2040 and then fall by more than a third to about 6 billion in 2100. This would give considerable gains for human society and the natural environment.

“By 2050, greenhouse gas emissions are about 90% lower than they were in 2020 and are still falling,” according to the report. “Remaining atmospheric emissions of greenhouse gases from industrial processes are increasingly removed through carbon capture and storage. As time passes, more carbon is captured than stored, keeping the global temperature below 2C above pre-industrial levels. Wildlife is gradually recovering and starting to thrive once again in many places.”

The Club of Rome is a globalist mouthpiece and we can read this through the lens of their agenda. Here's my first attempt at interpreting this:

We want more manageable workers and hope our policies will cut the population.

We will teach your children to put their faith in the global govt looking after them rather than having a large family.

Everyone needs to get behind our climate change emergency script to help push the Club's policies. Vote for your cultural decline, it's all been trialled out in Western Europe and North America with great success, now it's time to push it further to the rest of the world!

Yup, it's all your fault workers, if you give up your traditional way of life it'll all be love, peace and rainbows!

We're coming for the middle classes too! Who else do you think will pay for it!

Exactly and so climate change = overpopulation

They even admit that taxes are their way to reduce the population

They're literally admitting they're going to cull people with taxes

They're murdering us because poor people and a rich minority use too many resources

Or do they?

They seem to think they know something we don't, or are they really worried people are waking up?

Does the report also state that %1 of the world owns MOST of its wealth and that people would stop starving in poor countries if that 1% actually GAVE UP some of its wealth to the poor?

No? Not in the report?

Surprise surprise...

At what point does the West stop sustaining the third world? Their populations are increasing, not ours. Part of me feels like we have a moral duty to keep sending aid, because our leaders have plundered them, but the nationalist part of me says that it's not my problem because I wouldn't have plundered them as a true nationalist. I think all nations should have self-determination.

This notion of over population is nonsense. We could fit the entire worlds population in the state of Texas, quite easily and still have plenty of space. The world is bigger than you have been told it is.

We are not running out of resources and we are not running out of space either. This is nothing but lies. God, I hate these fuckers.

We're obviously not running out of space, but westerners do consume more than most on average. More specifically America, because they consume nearly a quarter of all the worlds resources, at least last time I checked. Resource scarcity is probably still exaggerated like you say though, because America is still taking plenty of people in.

I agree, there are plenty enough resources to go round and support/sustain everybody.

Rather than point the finger at specific countries and their peoples though, I would blame the multi-national corporations who are practically raping the planet for their own financial gain.

"Consume" is also a pretty loaded word - resources (food/produce/crops etc) are being taken from all over the world so these globalist corporations can mass-produce groceries and other products, but how much ends up going to waste?

So much food and produce ends up being thrown away because it has gone 'out of date', in many cases often before it has even reached 'consumers'.

A one litre carton/bottle of milk is enough for me to last a week. A bigger size bottle might work out "better value" cost wise, but it is more than I need - I buy milk for £1.20 per litre carton, a 2 litre bottle might cost "only" £1.59, but what is the point if I end up throwing half of it away because it has "gone bad"? That extra 1 litre of milk could have gone to someone else who needed it as well, but instead they're denied it.

That's the bigger problem that many people overlook, not so much consumption, but 'wastage'.

People in some countries are starving or having to do without, just so their produce can be chucked away elsewhere, instead of them being able to use it themselves.

I don't blame America, the anti-western climate change sentiment is coming from communists in my opinion.

So we have unelected private clubs planning our future as usual  but the people have been under this top down mind set for so long that it will take big shift for local people Everywhere to realise they are in charge of their own destiny  and local decision making should reflect their wishes not some crazy elite with grandiose designs on world domination etc

Living alone, I know exactly what you mean about buying milk. There's no chance of getting through 2Ltr of milk in the recommended three days. I could stretch it to 4.5 days but there will still be a load of milk going down the plughole.

Instead, I have to buy the far more expensive 1Ltr bottles. Either wasting milk or wasting money is the choice given to me.

It's the same principle with bread. I cannot eat an entire standard loaf costing £1 in the recommended three days before it turns to cardboard. I can, though, eat the half sized loaf on offer at £0.79 or thereabouts.

If the petro-dollar goes tits-up, the soft American lifestyle will come to a shuddering halt.

We’ve been well and truly done over.
All this time it’s been going on and it’s the same thing as before.

During the 00’s, in the uk, there was a shedload of cheap almost free money floating around for anyone who’d sign their name. Masses of people in every community holding parties everywhere, villages towns pubs clubs, large families doing well from modest jobs, an over abundance of goods and services at fairly good prices.

That all started to change in 08, and it never really got back to how it used to be.

Again, I’ve noticed a lot less people around this year.

At first I thought it was because it’s early in the year, all the popular rich influencer families are on holiday, leaving the poor, the elderly and the freaks to wallow in pity back in Blighty.

But no, there genuinely are less people around in the local communities, not like a mass exodus,

just a slow silent waning of human life trickling into hospitals and airports, either dying or emigrating, never to be seen again.

Well if the LGBT community keep it up, I can see how this could happen, it's just what the doc ordered. 🌈
