The ego only seeks to validate and energize itself, because it is without real life and power, it must siphon it off of it's host and others while keeping them in the dark as to it's hidden intentions and agenda, it projects that danger externally. "This is My command to you: Love one another. If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.…". They fear and loathe most that which is their salvation and release from bondage.
