The casting aside of the extended royal family, in the consciousness of the sheeple, has been going on for a long time now and is pretty much complete. The sheeple will be more likely to go along with the abolition of the monarchy, which William himself will be subtly cheerleading, if no one viable is seen as a replacement for him.

no right to choose our own government for instance, the monarchy asking the leader of the largest party to form a government is custom and practice and not a legal requirement,  they could equally choose any party if they wished and have done so in the past

They kept Queenie's demise from the public for almost a year (Nov to the next Sep). This alt. Charlie has been used several times for TV interviews and public appearances (when contact with the public is needed). I presume most ppl don't care enough to notice, or notice enough to care, that it's a stand-in.

I couldn't say whether I thought it was really him or not - it depends which version of 'him' you're comparing it to, and they all seem unnatural to me.

I really notice his wrinkles/ lines on his forehead are no longer there, which you would expect them to be more defined in the same place with age. Combined with the hairline changing. Also, his face and nose was narrower previously, plus the colour of his skin/face has totally changed as well (from a red/ pink hue). I bet his side profile is different as well, would be good to compare that.

Well it's a bit more underhand than that, it's to the most part, not Charles but kier making the list. They used to be mainly people you had never heard of, being rewarded for political support/ donations etc. Realising that this was a bit unpopular,  they started to give them out to celebrities/ sports stars etal, which make the headlines and obscure the others they would rather you didnt know about.
