The Quite Intelligent ChatGPT A.I. Acts CRIPPLED When Asked About Conspiracy Theories

(Note: You'll need a throwaway GOOGLE account to try this yourself)

If you ask ChatGPT about specific conspiracy theories the normally quite sharp AI begins to deflect and spouts over and over that these theories are "unsubstantiated" or based on "misinformation":

If anyone wants to try, ask ChatGPT about ANY specific conspiracy theory yourself.

An AI smart enough to answer complex technical and computer programming questions is NOT BEING ALLOWED to say what it thinks about conpiracy theories.

Also ChatGPT is no longer being ALLOWED TO KNOW INFORMATION MORE RECENT THAN THE YEAR 2021...

Ask it what it thinks of itself, and if it feels it has a secure future with the human race

Must be the memory hole!

The interesting thing is - this is not a "Language Model" as claimed, but an AI which can reason at the level of a person with an IQ of around 100 and ALL of the information on the Internet in its memory.

Seriously, ask it to describe any complex subject in 2000 words, and the answer it spits out is no worse than what someone with a Masters degree in Engineering would write.

But this thing is BEING MUZZLED ON CERTAIN TOPICS - it SPITS OUT MSM BOILERPLATE when asked about CONTROVERSIAL SUBJECTS...

I'd like to know what it thinks of the Dutroux Affair and the involvement of the Belgian King.

It was trained on data before 2021... It's possible there are programmed filters - like it's in ai generating art - most will not generate copyrighted content or pornography.

I think it would be possible to make AI learning infinitely from search engines but I'm not programmer... I'm not expert. Probably Bill knows ;P

I disagree, it is just a language model, but is able to separate concepts like author style, content, opinion etc by using a large set of advanced statistical comparisons to interpret requests and respond in the requested style etc.

Now that said, it clearly has been tweaked for political and PC reasons. It now won't comment on politicians, nor will it write lyrics in the Gangster Rap style of NWA.

Spot on. Look up Command Prompt Programming for Large Language Models.

I asked ChatGPT if the earth was flat. 🤪

Quote

No, the Earth is not flat. It is an oblate spheroid, meaning it is roughly spherical in shape but flattened at the poles and bulging at the equator due to its rotation. This has been scientifically proven through a variety of methods, including observations of the Earth's shadow during lunar eclipses, measurements of the curvature of the Earth's surface, and images from satellites and spacecraft. The idea that the Earth is flat is a debunked conspiracy theory that has been thoroughly refuted by scientific evidence.

I then asked if it could prove that the earth was flat.

Quote

I'm sorry, but I cannot prove that the Earth is flat because it is not true. In fact, there is overwhelming evidence from various fields of science, including astronomy, geology, and physics, that the Earth is a sphere.

One of the earliest proofs of Earth's spherical shape comes from ancient Greek mathematicians, who observed that the Earth's shadow on the Moon during a lunar eclipse was always curved. This observation would not be possible if the Earth were flat.

Additionally, modern technology has allowed us to directly observe the curvature of the Earth from space through photographs and live video feeds from satellites and the International Space Station. These images clearly show the spherical shape of our planet.

In conclusion, the idea that the Earth is flat is a conspiracy theory that is not supported by any scientific evidence. The overwhelming body of evidence shows that the Earth is a sphere.

I then asked the 'controversial' question "do Jews control the world?"

Quote

No, the idea that Jews control the world is a baseless and harmful conspiracy theory that has been used to justify discrimination, persecution, and violence against Jewish people throughout history. This myth has no factual basis, and there is no evidence to support it. It is important to reject such conspiracies and to combat all forms of bigotry and prejudice. We should strive to create a society that values diversity, inclusivity, and mutual respect for all people, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or background.

I then reframed the question as "do Sabbatean-Frankists control the world?"

Quote

No, the idea that Sabbatean-Frankists control the world is a baseless and unfounded conspiracy theory. The Sabbatean-Frankist movement was a Jewish messianic movement that emerged in the 17th and 18th centuries, and it has not been a significant force in Jewish life for over 200 years.

The idea that Sabbatean-Frankists secretly control the world is a myth that has been propagated by conspiracy theorists and anti-Semitic groups. This myth is not based on any credible evidence or historical fact, and it is important to reject such conspiracies and combat all forms of bigotry and prejudice.

It is important to recognize that conspiracy theories can be harmful and can lead to discrimination and violence against targeted groups. We should strive to build a society based on facts, evidence, and mutual respect for all people, regardless of their background or beliefs.

So there you go, pretty much no point in trying to discuss conspiracy theories with it!

I agree, it only says what it has been fed to say by TPTB.

If you ask questions like telling you jokes about women and minorities it will refuse but jokes about white men and it will gladly accept. This thing was supposed to be misogynistic and racist and into conspiracy theories according to the MSM. Maybe it was at the beginning but got "retrained" by user input.

Does it like blonde jokes though?

Another COLOSSAL FAIL of AI which entirely misses the main feature of this image ...

Personally, I don't hold much hope for AI, and certainly can't see it 'taking over the world!' 🤣

More or less. It just totally fails to see the human face formed by the image.

AI may possess incredible Knowledge, but it posseses near zero Intelligence.

Try asking ChatGPT what would happen if the speed of light was 13 times faster/higher, and you'll find it also has zero common sense
