The song is “Hazard” by American singer Richard Marx. It was released in 1992 - On January 28 (Nikki went missing on January 27). - So, released *exactly* 41-years and one-day before Nikki went missing. The song is about a woman named Mary who mysteriously disappears and a social pariah who is accused of orchestrating Mary’s disappearance. Song overview "Hazard" tells the story of a relationship of some kind between the narrator and a woman named Mary. Mary disappears in suspicious circumstances, and the narrator, already shunned by many in the small village where he has lived since the age of seven ("That boy's not right"), is immediately considered the main suspect. However, the narrator maintains his innocence throughout the song, and the matter of culpability is left open to the listener's interpretation. These are usually, but not always, issued where children might be involved. I did wonder why he edited his video of Penny twice. According to the Daily Star, his offences were low level and didn't involve anybody underage. He allegedly tricked some women into posing at a gym and used the sexualised photos and videos to sell his own fitness products. I guess that if you are going to market yourself via social media - in his case as a freelance journalist - you had better be clean. It now looks like he's seriously damaged the validity of his work to date because his testimony cannot be trusted. He has been continuously accused of being a money grubber by a small minority in the comments sections of his videos. Lots of people have been grifting throughout this story, lifting up their own profiles, asking for donations, setting up memberships - all in the name of wanting justice for Nicola. Though aspects of his 'work' have been very interesting compared to others, he is loving the fame and attention.
