Just been reading about cadaver dogs. They can smell a dead body 15 feet underground and 90 feet (90 feet!) under water.

Why were cadaver dogs not used?

Thats one of the big mysteries. Especially with the trail being so recent.
I think thats why the dog was running to the gate, thats the last place she saw her owner, otherwise it would have been running along the riverbank, if Nicola had gone in. That would mean the body disappeared into thin air, in other words, a car in the lane. Its the only way cadaver or tracker dogs would not be able to find any traces of where she went.

Having said that, AD's video above is interesting. There's absolutely no evidence whatsoever that she even left the house that day. Dropping kids off with so many parents and cars could have been done by someone else and not noticed by anybody, as its a busy, chaotic scene. There was no reconstruction, which is the usual way the police carry out disappearances with a lot of media attention, to jog memories, or likewise CCTV footage. Also strange the claim she didnt even stay at the house the night before. The sightings in fields are vague and contradictory, and the caravan family are the only real witnesses who all happened to be on the scene and getting their stories mixed up about who actually found the phone and tied the dog up, with it being alternatively claimed to be Penny the owner, Ron, and his wife. Surely they would get that bit right?

The one theory that can be ruled out is running off with someone. Suicide is unlikely at that place and in that manner. So either an accident/altercation with the caravan family, and their panicked bungled reaction, or a deliberate, planned abduction. If someone abducted her for sexual reasons, they'd have no reason to make sure the body was found, they would just hide it. Its obviously therefore someone who wants the heat taken off the situation and has gone to great lengths to arrange it. And obviously the police know things theyre not letting on about.

There are videos being removed by some because of what is happening to 'Curtis Media'. He foolishly uploaded a video of the body being removed from the reeds and is now claiming that he's going to be sued as a result of causing harm to the family.

That must be this fella:

Nicola Bulley TikTok ghoul sparks dismay at social media chase for 'likes'

Quote

Readers reacting to a Kidderminster barber filming Nicola Bulley's body being recovered from the river have expressed dismay over the social media race for 'likes and views'. Many BirminghamLive voiced concern over online activities with one saying "all people want to do is film people's misery and grief and stick it on the internet".

Worcestershire hairdresser Curtis Arnold said he had "learned his lesson" after media coverage of his gruesome eight-minute clip for his TikTok and YouTube sites led to a "devastating" impact on his life.

The barber added that he had donated 'five times' the amount he made for the clip to the tragic mum-of-two's family and taken the video down.

Sharon Hayes said: "That's the trouble nowadays. All people want to do is film people's misery and grief and stick it on the internet. Society is sick. Something needs to be done about it."

Katie Beveridge added: "Honestly, the depths that people will sink to just for likes and views."

Now while I agree with the sentiments about social media 'content creators' and the depths they will sink to in order to get 'likes' and comments, I find it completely hypocritical of media outlets such as those run by Reach Plc, who have spent the last few weeks posting numerous 'news articles' on their sites, which are nothing more than lazy click-bait journalism, designed to get people to view articles so the website can make money from advertising revenue.

In case my comment there gets 'deactivated', here it is here:

Did anyone see the interview with kay burley and that indian presenter? And then the dog walker suddenly appeared? That was dodgy i cant find it now.

Burley and the Indian were re-enacting the timeline of Bulley's disappearance at the exact time it happened and they filmed the dog walker, by chance, walking through the kissing gate at about 9:30am. But they didn't stop him for an interview, by chance, until about two hours later. So, this guy had a helluva long walk by the river that day.

She really is a despicable specimen isn't she that Kay burley. I've dealt with people like her before, hysterical, passive aggressive and poisonous.

She's the sort of sicko that would go to fatal car accidents where multiple people have died just to vamp on the trauma. Takes some sort of sick delight in it. I just wonder if it would be different if the parents weren't working class.

Because they made a mistake of using Keiley when Maddie went missing. Inconvenient truth had to be snuffed out afterwards.....

yeah, she must have known that the river is shallow so why would she commit suicide there? It doesn't make sense.

Anyway, IF she was an addict of some kind, it would have been the easiest thing to overdose and that is a preferred method amongst women. Men go for a gun.

Very strange. Imagine waking up to find that painted on the side of your house.

I'd rather have a banksy, than a suicidal menopausal alcoholic icon.

I already despised that woman but had never seen that clip. She's a career narcissist devoid of any ability to feel real compassion.

That clip there is her getting a 'hit'. They live for emotional reactions from their targets but that was as horrific an example I've seen.

Indeed. They wouldn't make that mistake again.

When my son was 7, in the days it was normal for kids to play outside, he was playing out in our back garden for a few minutes whilst I watched him and did the washing-up. after a small distraction I looked out to see the gate swinging open and him gone. I was so filled with fear, anxiety and nearly passing out, I actually wet myself and was screaming like a nutcase. I was unable to rationalise and predict what he may have done but if I had, I would have realised he'd gone to his friends a few doors away!

What I'm saying is, people who deal with a tragedy involving someone close by calmly talking to the press and public, instantly starting fundraising, then turn the attention on themselves and get aggressive with the public who they are cadging funds from just seem like aliens from another planet to me. What happened to raw emotions? Even if the missing person is a distant neighbour it would be traumatising wondering what the hell has happened to them! I doubt attention and money would have helped me if my worst fears had happened when my child wasn't at his friends.

I am trying to quote your question Velma, but I can't work out the technology.  Yes, do we have a Coroner's Report yet?  I haven't read anything in the news about it.  There should be one by now.  I just don't believe it was suicide, I am sure she was abducted by a third party and then her body tossed into the reeds.  At least proof of this would exonerate Peter Faulding from the accusation that his search wasn't good, the poor man was trying to help and he didn't charge for his help.

Did she wave a rainbow flag dead on at 8pm on Thursdays when everyone was banging their pots and pans? 😁

I don't know if she did or not, but I wasn't banging pots and pans though, I was far to busy throwing bits of fish to the hundreds of clapping seals performing to show their gratitude to the Tik Toking nurses who saved the NHS!🤔

We can only hope.😂

I notice a very strange and frequent use of the word hope in media broadcasts. It's used all of the time? ( It's stuck out for me, especially since it was used in the shawshank movie )
