It's a really strange case, in that there doesn't seem to be many things that could have happen, but all of them seem very odd. It's most likely that she fell in the river and drowned sadly. It seems odd that she did, but these things do happen unfortunately.

There was a potential route out of the area, unseen by CCTV but in broad daylight you'd be surprised she just left her phone and dog and went with someone under duress. She could have gone with someone she knew, but again, you'd imagine she'd take her phone and dog.

Maybe she was having some mental health problems and wanted to escape, so left her phone and dog and disappeared of her own accord. I find that very strange though. Wouldn't you leave your dog at home in that case? Wouldn't you take the kids to school and then just go? You wouldn't be thinking logically but I doubt you'd join a work call and then decide to do it.

It's a baffling case. The very experienced diver with the top of the range equipment has said he's never been involved in one like it and if she was in the river he's certain he'd have found her by now.

The phone left on the bench suggests she left suddenly, or if somebody abducted her they made her leave it there as people know you can be tracked by your phone signal. Leaving the phone, unless forced to do so, suggests a sudden panic to make her rush off and leave it as the situation at that moment took precedent over everything else. The dog falling into the water would be one instance but that has been discounted as it was dry. As has the tennis ball theory as I believe she didn't take it. The other possibility is somebody she knew and trusted suddenly shouted to her to come quickly. If said in a state of panic it would make her jump up and forget the phone and everything else to rush off to follow them fearing the worst. I believe there were obstacles and gates in the area that could have prevented the dog following her and returning home. That explains why it remained there in an agitated state. It couldn't follow her and she didn't come back.

Sadly unless she has effected her own disappearance I fear a tragic outcome as I guess everyone else does.

Her husband just couldn't hold in the laugh at 2:20, pause it there. Does that look like a man that is beside himself with worry for his missing wife?

Thank you very much, I studied that clip in the 'newspaper', and clocked that too, but watching it again .. boy oh boy .. I'd wanted to see him speak as the spouse is always the first suspect? I had also wondered whether the police said there was no suspicion just to relax the suspect? I can also see why people wouid question whether these are real people. There are actors amongst us.

Most odd.

Even without the laughing. If you watched that with no sound and no idea what he was talking about, deffo wouldn't think he was talking about a wife who's missing.

That's a great point Anti Facts Sir. Even allowing for nerves in front of the media perhaps, there is no pain on his face, no overnight ageing. The words he speaks regarding the children are not shown in his features at all?

police press conference given by empty hollow eyes

Yes I've seen this before, the tone in some of these missing persons conferences is unrecognisable? Barely human.

So many people go missing but the media is typically unbalanced.

The way this story has unfolded, the initial police comments, the way it's being presented, and also pushed in the media. There is so much to witness.

Banner on GB News tonight ...

Private search and rescue company SGI will search for missing mother-of-two Nicola Bulley

About 3 minutes into her disappearance the police spoke on tv to say there were no suspicious circumstances. I wondered how they could know that? Then the family refute this and tell us to keep an open mind. Now there is a private search company speaking on tv and asking questions like why the police are searching the same water, and mentioning the current to the river.

This isn't the first time I've seen a private company help with search and rescue, however ... this story is very unsettling. It's unusual.

It's a little bit of an odd one, that's for sure!

Last month, 40 miles away, still in the county of Lancashire, there was a similar abduction attempt, at a similar time of day in broad daylight. - A lone woman chased along a canal towpath.

The would-be abductor bears a close resemblance to Nicola’s partner. - Same physical build with same beanie hat.

Nicola, for years, has been a regular user of Facebook and social media, posting hundreds (or thousands) of photos of herself with Willow the dog and her daughters etc.

She especially liked posting Christmas photos. - However, last year, 7 December 2022, she suddenly stopped posting *anything*.   - No activity *whatsoever*. - No Christmas pictures at all, which is kind of odd.

With all the ubiquitous CCTV cameras and speed cameras/traffic monitoring, how come cases like this never get solved?  Melanie Hall, Susie Lamplugh, Claudia Lawrence? We live in a surveillance society yet these women disappeared without trace (until Melanie's remains were found about twenty years later).  Even smart meters pick things up, so surely Nicola had car keys that could be traced electronically?

And so weird that where she disappeared from wasn't treated as a crime scene in the first 24 hours, sealed off and combed forensically.  It feels like the police just don't want to be bothered investigating this.  If they lifted a finger to do a fraction of the work Peter's company has searching the river on tracing all cars that left that area, they might find Nicola, possibly still alive.  But it feels like they can't be bothered and just stick to the debunked fell in the river story.

I think it was a third party abduction.  There have been lots of those that were never solved and should have been.  I don't think it was Nicola's partner Paul, people can react paradoxically to intense fear and grief.  I don't know how he manages to keep life carrying on from day to day for the sake of his children.  He probably feels he can't cry because it would upset them, and he can't take high doses of valium because his children need him and it stops you functioning properly.

I also think John Cannan, who police believe killed Susie Lamplugh and from prison probably influenced the killing of Melanie Hall, knows a lot more than he is saying, and could name names but chooses not to.

With everything going on in the world, I didn't really pay much attention to this case. I initially speculated that Nicola may have been a stroke/heart attack vaccine victim, who collapsed in to the river. Now, I think that there is more to it.

Just a thought, and I'm probably way off the mark anyway, but is all this 'he said, they said, we said, she's in the river, oh no she's not, etc' and the whole country following this and that conspiracy theory, just another distraction whilst the underhanded nonces in charge of our country sneak some latest law, or mandate into being whilst we are all looking away?

Why weren’t sniffer dogs, bloodhounds, used to detect her scent? - Even if they thought she’d drowned, the dogs could have sniffed along the embankment to locate her.

The bloodhounds could be used to sniff around derelict buildings and the caravan park.

See: the Maddie McCann case, I suppose. Might not get the desired result.

Magnet for deviants, stalkers, perverts, degenerate, and the sexually inadequate. Who knows. It does have elements of a 411 case though. I'll bet Paulides has cast his eye over it already. Does anyone know of any unusual weather event in that area around the time she vanished?

If this is some type of social engineering  psy-op orchestrated by Military Intelligence, Tavistock Institute, then the word BULLY becomes extremely significant (Nicola *Bulley*).

////  ////  ////

BULLY:

a blustering, mean, or predatory person who, from a perceived position of relative power, intimidates, abuses, harasses, or coerces people, especially those considered unlikely to defend themselves: playground bullies targeting children with disabilities;a workplace bully who cuts me off when I speak.

Archaic. a man hired to do violence.

Obsolete. a pimp; procurer.

////  ////  ////

*Bullying is all over the news at the moment. - Banning the song Delilah because they say it glorifies violence against women, bullying.

*Dominic Raab & other MPs accused of bullying.

*Vicious dogs “American Bully’s” killing children.

The word “bully” induces FEAR into billions of people, especially women.

Why on earth is the bench still there? The bench along with the phone are probably the two most important things (forensically) the police had to go on in the early stages of this disappearance. YET the bench was never sealed off (protected) OR more importantly removed and given a through forensic examination in a controlled environment. Things are just not adding up here. Just like a post earlier on this thread I thought maybe she had, had the juice and just keeled over into the river......now I am not so sure.
