There was a reference, to all of the yellow ribbons being left at the alleged scene of Nicola's disappearance, on 'BBC News At One' today. I don't know. Looks like a winding down of sorts to me. Does anyone think, 'officially' at least, that Nicola is ever going to be found? Whether dead or alive. I know a song about that! "Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree, if you still want me." And for the record, I don't think she will ever be found, and I said that about Madeleine too.

The way the newsreader delivered the line was just weird. Nope, I was wrong. The weird line from the newsreader wasn't from 'ITV Lunchtime News' today. I will try to remember where I saw it. However, an 'ITV Lunchtime News' clip from today does contain an 'Alien Involvement?' caption, which is probably why I got confused. Oh, and we have the obligatory 'What we know so far' to laugh at as well. Edited February 13 by numnuts

Sidlittle
Can I ask a simple question ? I’ve been trying to catch up on this case. I sort of semi consciously noted it at the start , wondering why a missing person case is getting so much attention after a day or so but my question is, after looking up the timelines given, if her mobile was found at 9.34 am, how does that lead to the police informing her family that she is missing at 10.50am ? Why would the police care about a dropped phone being handed in or a dog hanging around a bench ? How did they draw the conclusion that the phone and dog were hers and there might be an issue ? I mean did the dog have the phone in it’s mouth or something ? I feel like I’ve missed a lot. 3

And lets face it, this is a major TV campaign. Ive been wondering at all the obvious Photoshopped photos of Nicola on her FB, mostly at the site of the disappearance. Its hard to see Pauly Ansell's avatar here, but it looks very similar to this photo from Nicola's Facebook page. Note the children wearing the white rabbit ears, we know what that symbolises! Satanic practices, adreno... Im still veering towards the accident with Caravan Lady/body at the farm theory, but this is really interesting. The policewoman leading the case definitely knows more about this, and the whole police investigation seems like theyre being forced to push the river theory, when theres no evidence at all to support it. Mr Crabtree
About twenty five years ago a man from my hometown went down to his allotment five minutes walk away, to cut a cabbage to go with their Sunday joint, that was the last time anyone ever saw him! Some reporter asked his wife how she managed to cope with it? she said 'oh, it wasn't too bad, we just opened a tin of peas and made do with them'! Luckily her and her husband's best friend Tom, who'd come over for Sunday lunch that day, managed to finish off laying the patio her husband had started laying a few days before he went missing, and one thing led to another and they ended up living together! A few years later she fell off the roof in a freak T.V. ariel accident after slipping from the top of a greasy ladder and died of a broken neck, and Tom inherited her house, her car and the holiday home situated on the banks of a Black Country canal! As luck would have it, Tom's ex girlfriend Ariadne McDougall popped round to offer her condolences, they both realised that there was still some spark left in their hearts for each other and they got back together! Last I heard, Tom was in poor health and Ariadne and Mick, her personal trainer, took him hiking in the Cairngorms, but poor Tom succumbed to the inclement weather, and sadly, popped his clogs after wandering away from the Bothy in a December snow storm, wearing just an old fashioned nightshirt and nightcap ! He was found just a mere thirty eight miles away huddled under a rocky overhang, but unfortunately it was too late to save him, about two weeks too late, according to the forensic report! Just a reminder of that madness, now nearly 3 years ago.

Women teamed up and went out mob handed for a drink. People became more vigilant after the IRA started bombing pubs, but it didn't bring the country to a screeching halt. If you think back, there have been umpteen nationwide scares that have fallen flat after the public refused to get sucked in. What's changed? Seems like people are afraid of their own shadows now.
