I had just started typing the first word or so, when my phone automatically displayed what I had wanted to type in full. That might not seem like a big deal, since it could have been something I had typed in before. But on this occasion, I was positive that it wasn't, and I was so surprised when my phone seemed to "read my mind" and supply the rest of the sentence. I kept trying to reason it away, but it seemed strange. I was sure it wasn't something I had typed before because it was a something new to me. Since then, I've noticed this happening more often. On different sites like Facebook or Amazon, it seems like I can just be thinking about something I want to check out or look up, and suddenly an ad for that exact thing pop up!! This morning on a Facebook post people were talking about this phenomenon, and it seems like lots of people are experiencing it. Some people were calling it "thought data". I haven't been able to find much information about this. Can our devices somehow read our thoughts now?? I can't prove this, but technology knows most of us better than our friends and family at this point. It knows our buying habits, our ideological views, who we're attracted to, our hobbies and interests, etc. There's a reason why I turn my phone off and cover the microphone when I'm listening to certain things, or talking with my friends. The most worrisome version of that is having people dropping hints and doing street theatre out in public regarding things you’ve thought about recently. Those people are fully integrated into the AIs infrastructure, or is it you? We’ve discussed this on another thread a few months ago. To stop ‘it’ or the AI from second guessing you or gaslighting you based on your personal life, you have to get off the internet for a while, and don’t speak around anyone who is carrying a smartphone. It needs you to be online to provide you with its feedback. It actually gets off on showing you that ‘it knows’. I’ve had a couple of instances of actually controlling functions on this iPhone by thinking about it- I’d think forcefully about the movement or gesture that I’d use on the keypad to perform the function for a split second, as if it was already done or as if I was touching it, and it did it without me making physical contact with it. Scared me shitless as I think I’m hacked, got an experimental big tech/university/military research chip in me or something. Only happened twice with this phone, but can recall similar instances using laptops about ten yrs ago. The stone tape theory gets regularly mentioned in ghost hunting programmes, it helps explain why sightings are often very repetitive and the ghosts don't move very far away. Now, when you use anything as an antennae for your telepathic abilities other than the universe you get a parallel universe. A parallel universe has a righteous deed, to remember the old one. The new one has to call itself just like the old one. But where we going? Intellect, is not going anywhere, anyway! Funny.
