Mr Crabtree
Brighton where I live has now caught up to its unofficial name of 'Little London by the Sea'! Although I live here, I must say in all honesty, it's an absolute shithole, dirty, filthy streets, graffiti everywhere, boarded up shops along the main arterial road leading out of the city and dozens of beggars and drug addicts littering the streets! When I first moved here 25 years ago it was a thriving and pretty town, it's now slipped from 'Pretty Town' to 'Pretty Shitty City'! The council are useless, they willingly spend money on gender and pronoun badges to hand out to anyone who isn't happy with being a HE or a SHE, but have all sorts of excuses why they can't afford to stop the seafront areas from crumbling or becoming a danger to passersby! They keep closing public toilets, putting up car parking prices, allow more and more coffee shops to open up to cater to the tourists who can't afford to come here anyway because of the confusing new road layouts and high parking charges etc. A young family with two or three kids would need a small mortgage to pay for a family day out here, if, they could find anything open to take the kids to in the first place! The city, and the council only seem to have the welfare of Asylum seekers, the gay and transgender community and cyclists at heart! If you happen to be a gay asylum-seeking cyclist, then the council will welcome you with open arms! The daily local newspaper 'The Brighton Argus' or as I call it 'The Brighton Anus' because of the shit it churns out on a daily basis, gets most of its news from the free paper 'The Metro' or by 'borrowing' articles from the National Daily papers! They have 'Junior Reporters' who, frankly couldn't report a head cold to their old mum, and their spelling is absolute pants to be honest! The seafront road is nearly all cycle lanes now and the outdated and outmoded island by the pier is usually snarled up with traffic during the day, and bands of roaming drunks from the clubs around and in West Street at night! If this is to be a '15 MINUTE CITY' then you won't get far during the day, and you'd be too scared to go far at night! We can't afford to move, and where would we move to anyway? Everywhere will soon be the same, even Beirut would be ashamed to be our twin town, and make no mistake, all this shit will be coming to a town or city near you soon enough!
Anti Facts Sir
Took me 20 mins just to get out of our bloody village yesterday. So good luck with this idea. I know the end-game, as above - everyone zombiefied and trapped in little boxes, existing through VR and Deliveroo. They can take that plan and shove it somewhere the sun doesn't shine.

Velma
Swiss MP Bastien Girod painted a vision of the near future in which governments change the nature of how population is organized. The grand idea? To focus people into tightly controlled cities designed around carbon controls and where cars are illegal for individuals to own. And, to establish penalties for businesses that do not conform to bureaucratic climate change policies. At the WEF, a Swiss MP proposes cities where there is no individual ownership of cars, and encourages punishing any businesses that do not align with environmental goals. pic.twitter.com/x2jySxdOhK — Ian Miles Cheong (@stillgray) January 16, 2023 The exploitation of global warming hysteria despite all scientific evidence to the contrary remains the primary topic and tool of globalism. Climate organizations claim that carbon emissions substantially increased for the past eight years yet global temperatures have not increased in same period according to the latest NOAA data. Not only that, but global temps have only risen less than 1 degree C in the past 100 years. There is still no concrete evidence that carbon emissions have a causation relationship with changes in global temperatures. Yet, this false threat is the rallying cry of the Davos elite and their continuing demands for freedom crushing centralization. https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/swiss-mp-davos-change-living-environements-force-public-follow-climate-goals

The morons believe that staying home, stopping farms, cattle, meat and milk will stop their crazy idea that it's getting hotter, which is BOLLOCKS. These same morons support America's endless proxy wars, endless military exercises, fucking fighter planes, endlessly disturbing people. Bombs, tanks, aircraft carriers, submarines, missiles, heavy artillery, mass killing, none of those produce CO2. Of course not. The fucking tooth fairy and Santa convert it all to oxygen. Don't burn fuel and stay warm. It produces CO2. Do star jumps so we can send more missiles to Ukraine to fight America's wars and produce more CO2 daily, than every fucking animal on the planet put together produces in a year! Go on strike for more pay, so it puts you into a higher tax bracket and the Tax Dept can make you poorer than you were BEFORE the fucking pay rise. Don't drive or fly. Bill Gates, Soros, Rockefeller, Fauci, Hillary, and Grim Greta need your carbon credits for their yachts, private jets, limousines and luxury life styles. You think THEY will ever be cold and hungry? Obey slaves and work 5 months every year for FREE so the taxman can pay for more wars and rebuilding countries that America, NATO and the UK have sent back to the stone age. Why not cull all the people. They fart, breath and make CO2... Oops, sorry, I forgot, they are doing that with the fucking injections and poisons they sell to the gullible assholes out there and the dozy twats line up for more 'Jabs' and pills, while people all around them are dying from those same poisons The twats DESERVE to die. They lost their brains shortly after birth. Ooh, I know. Time for more 'peaceful protests'. The elite will quail in terror at the sight of you freezing your butt off in the cold and rain. Just as they did with the covid 'protests'. Edited January 25 by Mikheil 2

Velma
Whether it’s cyber attacks, inclement weather, pandemics, rioting, or because your airline company has collapsed, flights are being grounded, right, left and centre. Travelling by air is becoming a real challenge; take the train? Good luck with that! If they are not cancelled due to strikes, the railway embankment has probably fallen away in flood waters. What about the bus or car? Well, only if it’s an electric vehicle, fully charged and goes no further than a fifteen minute drive. Forget that foreign holiday you worked hard for, you’ll be lucky if you can go and visit relatives or friends in the neighbouring town. There was a time when people were at liberty to travel wherever they chose, if they had the means. It was a ‘free world’ but now, it is an open prison and people think that’s a good idea, to “save the world.” For who, the primates or the inmates? There would little point in there being a "planet” at all, if everyone living there was slaves…

Grumpy Owl
I saw this for myself in Birmingham city centre last year. There are numerous apartment blocks being built or under development and they all have certain things in common. While the upper floors consist of 'luxury apartments', with maybe a restaurant at the top for 'the views', the ground levels provide some retail space and/or a gym. The retail space consists of a 'convenience store' - either a 'mini' Tesco/Sainsburys/Morrisons etc, or some Co-Op/Londis/Costcutter/Nisa - and maybe a couple of cafes or takeaways such as Subway/Costa etc. It's almost like these blocks are being provided so that their residents have (much) of what they need, right on their doorstep. The 'essentials' if you like. Of course, the people who will live in these high-rise blocks will be those who have already been conditioned into using Just Eat, Deliveroo, Amazon etc to get stuff delivered to them, while the 'big name' stores selling the 'luxury' stuff are just a short walk or bike ride away. There's not much in the way of parking spaces being provided for these developments, because the 'assumption' being made is that the residents won't 'need' a private car - if they need to travel further afield, then the 'assumption' is that they will travel by bus or train, or hire an 'Uber' (taxi). People are 'outraged' that this 15-Minute City concept is being proposed for Oxford, when it is already happening in cities like Birmingham, and so far no-one has raised an eyebrow. 2

Everyone to live 15 minutes from green space or water in England under plans I think round here everyone already does. I have two football fields about a minute away, a "country park" (aka ex-landfill) with woods and a lake about 10 mins away. A traditional park with duck pond about 15 mins in opposite direction and several schools with playing fields. About 20 mins to city farm and so on. Every estate round here is much the same and all have those green areas where you are not allowed to play football.
