Crytocurrency founder Tiantian Kullander suddenly dies aged 30

NEWS

The co-founder of a cryptocurrency has suddenly died at the age of 30.

Tiantian Kullander was one of the people behind Hong Kong-based company Amber Group, having started out as a market trader for Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

His meteoric rise led him to being named on Forbes' prestigious 30-under-30 list in the Asia Finance and Venture Capital category in 2019.

However, it was announced this week that Mr Kullander has sadly died in his sleep on 23 November.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Amber Group said: "Tiantian (or "TT", as he was lovingly known) was instrumental to the founding of Amber and a pillar of our success.

"He put his heart and soul into the company, in every stage of its growth. He led by example with his intellect, generosity, humility, diligence and creativity."

It went on: "We lost a great partner and a true friend in TT and words cannot express our sorrow at this time.

"TT's legacy will live on and we will work even harder to make Amber the category-defining leader of our industry, as this was TT's ambition and dream.

"TT was a devoted husband, a loving father and a fierce friend. His passing is a tragedy and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

"He is survived by his wife and their beloved son. We kindly request that you respect their privacy during this difficult time."

Mr Kullander also sat on the board of e-sport company Fnatic, and founded KeeperDAO, a decentralised finance app.

He is the second young cryptocurrency entrepreneur to pass away in recent weeks.

A few weeks ago, tech millionaire Nikolai Mushegian drowned on a beach in Puerto Rico.

The 29-year-old had been paranoid that the CIA was after him, tweeting as much just hours before his death.

His final post read: "CIA and Mossad and pedo elite are running some kind of sex trafficking entrapment blackmail ring out of Puerto Rico and Caribbean islands.

"They are going to frame me with a laptop planted by my ex [girlfriend] who was a spy. They will torture me to death."

However, despite his claims, his family do not believe that there is anything suspicious about his death.

Brock Pierce, a fellow cryptocurrency entrepreneur, told The New York Post: "His mother clarified that his death had nothing to do with his [conspiracy] tweets.

"He was a beautiful man and a child at heart. He was also an incredible visionary, I don’t call people brilliant very often but Nikolai was brilliant."

I bet he will say... Oh well.

Did he die suddenly from Covid or from losing to FTX? 🤔

With all that money, internet connection isn't very good in Bahamas.....

mnn so FTX could be made bankrupt but the property is in the name of another company so their money is safe.

This is what we should be learning. This is how you avoid You own nothing and be happy.
