They seem to be moving ever closer to the Bric nations. Saudi Arabia are also doing the same. Obviously these two countries have huge sway in the oil markets and US dollar is backed by Saudi Oil. So I think this is why we see disruptors apparently stirring the riots in Iran etc. because they want to keep Iran down, don't want them to join the Brics - where the future economic power houses potentially lie. We're also seeing attacks on Russia and stirring the pot with china, and funny stuffs in the Brazilian elections......I can imagine similar funny stuffs will be tried on Saudi soon.
