I suspect this will come even sooner than that. We will see political pantomime by Labour in a mud slinging match, telling everyone largely what they want to hear and demanding a general election. Then, we will have one and obviously the masses will vote Labour because they’ve preached to the people and told them exactly what they want to hear, speaking largely directly to the financial screw ups made by the Tories, of course the energy crisis and the situation with the Tories themselves that they can’t pick a stable leader plus they’re doing so without any input from the public, when the public should have a say. Plus how with the switching back and forth of leaders, the Tories don’t actually have to adhere to their original manifesto and are basically doing whatever the hell they want, even though this obviously isn’t what they claimed when the public voted them into office… This is true for them all, they never do what they say or pledge to get in, but I’d guess this will be what’s made up as “go to debate” talking points rather than genuine points of things like COVID/the damage this has caused, the attacks on human rights/censorship and the growing surveillance state/technocracy. They all sing for the same hymn sheet when it comes to these so we need political theatre. To serve this country as Prime Minister was once a great honour.
