The Scottish Express are straight in with 'it's the Russians' 🤭

'It was the Russians': Shetland islanders claim Putin conspiracy as phone system goes down

Residents in Shetland faced being completely cut off from their phone networks on Thursday morning, which has sent locals into a frenzied panic that Russian spies are on their way.

If your financial system was about to implode it might be an emergency option to pull all the plugs out.

Yep that Putin will get em!

First he blows up his own pipelines, which he could simply turn valves to off to stop the flow of gas. Then he chooses of all places Shetland to shut down their communications! I see a plan coming together here and it ain't Putin.

i do think they are going to 'reset' the economy somehow and a 'bank holiday' or cyber attack would give them the opportunity to that but chomping through the subsea shetland is small beer

I'd say it's a couple of things... it's a diversionary exercise, classic "Look over here, not over there," with added blame game rhetoric for good measure and quite possibly a "dry run" for a larger exercise elsewhere which may or may not assist in the timing of a banking collapse or bail-in exercise...

My advice at this time would be, if anyone has any sort of serious money in the banking system right now, take it out.

yeah that's not really the aspect of this that i have to worry about!

if they do the bail-in option they would declare a 'bank holiday' and close the banks. Then they would announce that people are only allowed to withdraw a certain amount per day from the ATM's which would basically be grocery money like say £50-100

But they want to switch to a digital currency so they either have to sell that idea to the public so that they adopt it or they have to have a 'catalyzing event' and when the dark occultists want to force change they carry out a RITE OF MANIFESTATION like the destruction of the two towers on 911

They did this in Cyprus 13 years ago. It ruined many British ex-pats over there...

Correct. The Russians were just starting to invest in Cyprus at that time so I'm certain some of those early investors will have taken a haircut.

i remember it and also some chat around that time that when you deposit your currency in the bank you actually technically no longer own it as you have become an 'unsecured creditor'

I think also there was a legislation change not so long ago that would help pave the way to a bail-in but i can't mind what that was.

So some physical cash outside the bank is a good idea, as well some food and if you think you might need to drive some petrol too. Cooking gas and a camp stove is not a bad idea.

I lived in extremely basic accommodation during the polar vortex and my car was snowed in. I lost my water, my gas for cooking and which powered the boiler and so could not cook, shower, flush toilets or travel. I walked to the local store and all that was left on the shelves was some packets of naan bread! It was a good little dry run for the big event. I did however have a camping stove and used buckets of collected water for the toilet. I can't remember if power went out...there may have been a brief outage

As for options to store money outside of big banks there is always community CREDIT UNIONS

Damage to two subsea links which seriously disrupted communications to Shetland was likely caused by fishing vessels, the cable operator has said.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-63337473

It would be a good test to see the effect on the population and services such as banking etc but they are saying it was an accident.

If only all these devious wretches would employ Queensbury rules for their combat - fair & square & out in the open. Lies & trickery are their way of life

Good idea

the leaders could fight it out in the ring and leave rest of humanity out of it for a change

Then I expect we would have less conflicts all round

As with everything the BBC puts out there, I have my doubts on this as well. Surely, if it was caused by a fishing vessel, any good journalist (not that the BBC have any, any more) should be able to clarify this from the AIS transponder the vessel should have fitted?

They must know the exact time cables were damaged, they must know the exact position the cable/s were damaged. If I had these two details, I could tell in seconds what vessel/s damaged the cable/s.

It is also interesting the amount of time the report spends telling us all how it stopped people getting money and spending cash they had? Very interesting.

'Act of vandalism': Major cable cut in France sparking power outage in Europe, Asia and US

The damaged subsea cable in Marseille reportedly impacted internet connectivity to Europe, Asia, the US and potentially other parts of the world too.

What a coincidence (not).

the disruptions are only to going to deepen and broaden and everyone who flew a ukrainian flag because the television told them to has helped create this situation

Yep. And as per usual, it's good intentioned, naieve people who've played a big part in this by absorbing every lie unthinkingly and embracing the false narrative. It's always the same, innit!
