I’m not sure about this. Personally I think this ‘war’ is meant to go on for years with all it’s energy and food ‘consequences’. These ‘consequences’, I believe will be the excuse to put boots on the ground in Ukraine. We all know what happens next……

True, but maybe Russian Leftists and Russian ethnonationalists don't want it to go on for years, for different reasons of course. Leftists probably side with Western Liberalism, and ethnonats might not like Putin's civic nationalism.

Good point. But are they in any position to topple the apple cart? Would be great to see it happen (if it is for all the right reasons). But personally I think it’s all just another- give people hope then pull the rug away again.

The Western media put out reports Putin is going to do address the nation he intends to intensify the war in Ukraine. The broadcast never takes place! Hmmmm I smell a rat.

He spoke at night for the Western leaders.

Looks like a partial mobilisation, a bit like the one Tsar Nicholas made be his family went down a coal mine.

That said, I did spot this sight this morning heading to Worthing

Another 98 and we might have a German Eurovision hit from the 80s.
