So you’re not allowed to have a funeral for your own loved one because some rich woman died who you never knew and didn’t give a shit about you died and you must watch her funeral, fuck your own loved one Reading the comments section on my local paper regarding people queuing for Asda when it reopened at 6pm on day of the funeral, full of comments calling people who went ‘selfish’ and ‘sheep in a queue’ (oh the irony!!) and other comments like the following photo attached. Also what struck me was the removal of the "symbols of state" from the coffin, to me it's that point that really hits home that she is no longer the Queen, it's gone fall circle, the nation saw those things given to her 70 years ago, then taken away.
