Did I hear overwhelming support for bring back boris earlier on the news?

Or was it a fever dream from eating a dodgy tesco sandwich, and subsequently having to decide which end to put over the toilet?

My recommendation is by the way puke in the toilet, crap yourself and then discard the crapped pants at no.10 downing street

Wish l hadn't. The focus was upside down and backwards as usual - and l bit and got riled.
l'm beginning to get very pissed off with the constant real world downwards spiral...

I'm afraid it was real. Much to my dismay.

Truss…..posts, and struts, supporting a roof, bridge, or other structure.

she was just holding up the ‘house’ so to speak……

Boris will be back…..he wants to be the next Churchill…..go to war, kill off a load of the peasants that are getting too smart…..and be the hero that saves, ahem, ‘democracy’

I heard the craziest show on LBC today. Sangita actually said that Truss crashed the economy in ten days, and at the same time discussing Johnson and Sunak as if it wasn't they who were so called in charge of making the decisions. When a caller said Sunak created the debt with furlough she wouldn't have it, and was more interested in calling him racist because he dared to mention race / Nationality.

You can imagine that Liz will be blamed eternally for the financial situation, and Johnson can be painted as the saviour. The blatant distortions are just astonishing.

I would appreciate it if someone can share some snippets from the show if I share the time slots. It was painful to listen to. I'll try to share some of the bits I heard the first chance I get.

https://www.republik.ch/2022/10/19/die-queen-ist-tot-der-wahnsinn-regiert?utm_source=pocket-newtab-global-de-DE

Translation:

The task of the British monarch is representation – and thus the renunciation of her own voice. The language that remains is symbolism. And the Queen mastered her craft until her last breath.

On 6th September she received the new Prime Minister Liz Truss. She died two days later.

It was, after 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II, the end of an era. But, as the following days showed, it was only one epoch of many.

With the Queen, not only the longest reigning monarch died. With her died the empire in which she had ruled: the British Conservatives – after all, the second oldest political party on the planet, Britain's reputation as a trading nation, the future of hundreds of thousands of her subjects, and the globally influential ideology that began in London in 1979 when the other influential woman became Britain's prime minister: Margaret Thatcher.

And – if not everything is deceiving – Elizabeth II ended the time in which the great colonial empires profited from the money and splendour of the past. Now they are being destroyed by this past.

It is no small feat of coincidence that the woman who carried out this destruction bore the Queen's first name and previously imitated Margaret Thatcher in gestures, choice of words, clothing, program for a career.

For one summer, Liz Truss and her rival Rishi Sunak had fought in endless television duels for the office of prime minister. It was a fierce, dirty, but strangely unreal election campaign. This is because only 140,000 members of the Conservative Party took part in the election.

During this summer, the suburbs of London burned in an unprecedented heat wave, the National Health Service partially collapsed due to miserable pay and a renewed wave of Covid infections, leaving injured people waiting up to 15 hours for the ambulance, economists predicted that because of the sudden increase in electricity prices this winter, millions of Britons were left between heating and eating. This summer, inflation was already at 10 percent (and sometimes even more severe for food), so this fall stories like that of a schoolboy who was caught over an empty plastic box pretending to eat lunch from it made the rounds out of shame that his family could not afford this issue.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Truss and Chancellor of the Exchequer Sunak argued over who was the tougher Brexiteer. Sunak scored points with his commitment to financial discipline, perfect suits, a video with a shredder for EU regulations and the diversion of funds from poorer inner cities to the affluent suburbs "that deserved it".

Truss, on the other hand, countered with recreated Thatcher photos and the promise to deliver tax cuts. The decisive factor was that Chancellor of the Exchequer Sunak had ended the reign of the mendacious Prime Minister Boris Johnson with his resignation after the last of many scandals – the public loves the betrayal, no one the traitor.

On September 5, Liz Truss finally became prime minister with 57 percent to 43 percent. It was an unexpectedly weak majority, but Truss took it as a mandate for its entire program. She threw all opponents out of the cabinet and filled it exclusively with supporters.

She mentioned a single goal: growth. And promised to work for it like Lady Thatcher: courageous, decisive, without compromise.

A month later, Britain was on the verge of collapse. Which was like any collapse: as expected as unexpected, without elegance and largely destructive.

The beginning – the end

In fact, it took Truss less than a month. For the first two weeks, the dead monarch continued her service and kept the country stable: national mourning for the Queen, 25-hour queue in front of coffin and book of condolences, thousands of photos and anecdotes, tears and seas of flowers.

For two weeks the flags hung at half-mast, and Britain seemed all right again: tea, eccentricity, stiff upper lip, duty, uniforms, Churchill, Paddington Bear, James Bond. And London was once again the centre of the world: arriving heads of state were accommodated in the back of Westminster Abbey.

At the funeral service on September 19, many millions of people sat in front of the television.

The next day, one of the visitors, US President Joe Biden, tweeted before his meeting with the Prime Minister: "I am tired and disgusted by the trickle-down economy. It never worked."

A spokesman for the Prime Minister commented: "The assumption is ridiculous that President Biden could have alluded to British politics."

His boss, Liz Truss, on the other hand, delivered a commitment to the trickle-down economy: It was about strengthening the financial center so that investments in jobs and wages would be restored: she could not discover anything unfair about tax cuts for the rich. And assured, very iron lady: "I am ready to become an unpopular Prime Minister."

Although I haven't done this yet! Especially as my scribbIes needed editing ... I see there is a lot of talk about it online, and an article in the Metro, plus others. Tonight "Sangita Myska wanting to ban the word globalists" was mentioned on GB News by Matt Le Tissier, who also took an opportunity to highlight Sir Christopher Chope speaking  in parliament for the vaccine injured.

Thanks Not Thoth.

I heard several parts of the show live. I was 'lucky' to randomly hear the call. It's a strange feeling to empathise with a caller, and hear them talked to in that way. It was one thing after another. Also immediately after another caller and the presenter were discussing what had just happened, with the caller consoling the presenter. I found it absolutely sickening, and in my usual way; an almost perfect insight/ example to where we are 'at' now. Weird logic. No logic.
