Oxford University was going to open source their vaccine. The Gates foundation got involved, some kind of deal was made, and the vaccine became closed source. What is even stranger is that there must be a Chemistry laboratory somewhere in the world which can reverse engineer the formula from the vials with some effort. But what would happen to them if they did this? They could be harrassed, suicided, sued, smeared as "incompetent", defunded, closed down, spied on for life. Sadly these same people that recognise a problem a fracture in society fail to acknowledge it because they’re too busy swimming with the tide. I don't bite my tongue, but I do word things differently depending on who I talk to.
