With a cost of living crisis ongoing now we have ... 'Dont pay UK'. Here is their swanky website.

Just popped up out of nowhere in June.

 

 

They are urging people to stop paying their utility bills on October 1st this year. Another grass roots endeavour...... apparently Unfortunately they appear to have links to BLM, XR, a Blairite think tank and anti gun lobbyists. The article below covers it.

The aforementioned Blairite think tank is the Resolution Foundation, which was founded by Sir CLIVE COWDERY, a Council member of George Soros' economics think tank INET, of which a former chairman, ADAIR TURNER, was a Trustee with Cowdery at the Resolution Foundation, and the chairman of the British FSA (Financial Services Authority).

What if the energy companies' top executives are just as much part of TPTB as the govt which is taxing them? After all, they'll only be taxed on the super-profits made after they've been exploiting the massive price hikes. So it would be just a transfer of wealth across two sides of TPTB, but which originates from us ordinary folks.

I agree. The oil industry helped create the modern green movement, knowing full well that fossil fuels would be history, e.g. BP's "Beyond Petroleum" campaign, which promoted man-made climate change propaganda.

The thing is that as noble as this sounds, the more you tax such companies on the profits they make, the more they 'put up their prices' in order to 'offset' these taxes, and maintain the dividends that the shareholders receive.

 

At the lower end of the scale, its exactly the same as when someone like eBay turns around and increases the fees they charge their sellers. If sellers have to pay more in fees, they put up their selling prices in order to compensate.

 

Nobody wins except for the shareholders, consumers end up paying more as a result.

I wasn't sure what to think at first with this Don't Pay Movement, as I DID want to believe in it, but.... on second thoughts....

I have to agree, don't pay *the website most in particular* would have sounded good in theory as Miri also began by thinking too, but as you read on like the blogger Miri says about the website, its not credible to follow anything without a verifiable name or a face and it's not credible (most of all for a would be genuine grass-roots organization) that Don't Pay has created such a large following in such a short space of time, so I believe Miri's words on it now who wrote that article . . . . . and -> https://miriaf.co.uk/vaccines/ -> also btw has contributed to this Research Initiative site "Strive" (https://striveuk.webs.com/strive-studies) which has done probes into vaccines efficacy and neuro toxicity compounds such as the preservatives used in vaccines, so that possibly to mention one aspect could have had her influence in helping reveal such information =>=>....

Anyway I guess just one of her investigations that she may have contributed to on Strive or put her name to in the process of finding out stuff.

Plus to say in general it looks like on Strive website's wording with their "student & teacher" as they bill themselves, is simply about teamwork I guess to uncover whatever on vaccines throughout history and of course present. Well, plus -  the "Student & Teacher (Research Initative)" title of theirs perhaps also indicates about being most concerned about vaccine s in schools.

 

So above, basicly 2 subjects to be interested in.... and now back to the Don't Pay / Financial Paralysis debate .....
