Fluke
I am not complying. As an other member here said yesterday. I wonder how long it is going to be until people like 'us' start getting attacked or lynched in the street. I am surprised I haven't been sucker punched by a branch covidion yet but there's still time. I generally want nothing to do with the majority of people I just want to try and earn a living like them though. That's what's disturbing not only is ignoring the stupidity of the general public not enough anymore, I really feel like Winston Smith, literally having the stupidity and opinions IMPOSED ON ME.

And I'm going to be very narky if anyone asks me why I'm not wearing one. No one with a health condition or disability should feel intimidated to wear one I will be printing off and laminating these cards and sticking the regulations on the back http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/592/regulation/4/made I don't see how they're enforceable if "severe distress" is an exemption. I only think you'll be fined if you're a total arse with an over zealous copper. Has anyone got the figures for how many fines have actually been handed out under these regulations? Fluke
I wonder if there will be a lot of push back. Daily mail online a lot of sensible comments for a change
Alex
There is legitimately a proper push back here. It wont be enough to overturn this from been made compulsory i dont think but there is a pushback happening
alexa
Well it's here folks, from July 24th it will be mandatory to wear face masks in shops or face a £100 fine! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8519177/Police-hand-spot-fines-not-wearing-face-covering-shops-July-24.html

Im pretty sure there are many on here who are ‘65+’, as are David and others who spread the truth. There are people of all ages who believe this shit. "Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light." I haven't become part of the 65+ brigade yet (whatever that is) but it's on the horizon. Some younger people have been programmed by social media and some older people have been programmed by the terror-vision in the sitting room. I don't see the mask wearing being determined by age but from my admittedly limited observations I do think there is an urban/rural divide. Rural people by and large are just getting on with their lives and even when they congregate in shops etc. there's little or no social distancing or mask wearing. Anyone I ask seems to regard it as bollocks, which coincidentally is the same answer I've gotten any time I've previously mentioned climate change. Fluke
And you mate. The good news is there is some push back. Just been to your typical builders cafe and no stupid dots on the floor and NO masks just 3 lovely polish birds and and the chef. This is near chingford. The high street is going to take a pounding as well probably be obliterated as even a lot of the normies won't want this. Boris is a cuck and I want to see them all jailed
alexa
The article says shop keepers cannot enforce the law only the police can, does this mean that the cops are going to be patrolling our supermarkets now ?

I’m not sure I agree with that verse Storm; I’ll do my ‘raging’ while I’m here in this strange construct. When my times up here, I’ll move on with looking forward to what’s next - or whatever; doesn’t matter. For the rest of it I agree wholeheartedly; and you’re right re the rural/urban thing too; seen it myself here.

sickofallthebollocks
Ahhhhh fuckety fuck - it's happened hasn't it (sigh) Anyone in the uk? Want to do what I'm about to do? This is it: I'm going up to my office later to print off some leaflets (haven't decided what to put on them yet) Then I'm going to spend the day (with other people hopefully) either today or possibly thurs at the latest - walking up the high street and visiting especially the independant traders (not the bigger corporation type businesses) - to hand out leaflets basically asking them to ignore the mask rule. as well as handing out leaflets I want to talk to each owner/manager - I'm going to film when possible too. It's the beginning of the end of the high street if this happens - we need all people in every town to visit them to say "don't do it - don't enforce it" - put up a message on your shop door saying NO FACE MASKS Now is the time to make a stand! Otherwise everyone is going online to shop - which means amazon and the rest = end of the high street. - we have to take a stand now. 5

(not from official source) Maybe it is better to start with a coughing spree, then (ideally) throw up in the store leaving behind a long vomit-trail, and thereafter to tell the owners that it is your specific side effect of hypoxia. If next time they don't let you in to buy your food, you have the option to die from starvation. They say it is a more pleasant death than dying from suffocation. owen
Only a matter of time now before the sheep in the Irish govt follow suit just like with the transport. I have some faith left that the good people of Britain and Ireland will not comply in sufficient numbers. I cant see there being too much compliance in the rural areas at least. There are two categories of people out there, those who have bought the fear and those that havent. Those with the fear will go around with a bed sheet wrapped around their face if you tell them
