From the same link in my previous post, this also tells a story:

Quote

How has the UK government's position on face coverings changed?

  • 12 March: England's deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries says it is "not a good idea" for the average member of the public to wear a face mask as they may not use it properly and put themselves at more risk of contracting coronavirus
  • 17 April: The transport secretary says the evidence on whether masks work is "quite mixed" and it is possible wearing them "could do more harm than good in certain situations"
  • 1 May: Downing Street says face coverings have a "weak but positive effect" in reducing the spread of coronavirus
  • 11 May: People in England are advised to wear face coverings on public transport and in enclosed spaces where social distancing is not always possible
  • 15 June: Face coverings are made compulsory on public transport in England

The 'government's position' only changes as the (bogus) 'advice' from their 'experts' (technocrats) changes. No-one in the Government even checks or questions their 'advisors', they just do as they are told (by the 'technocrats').

It was only yesterday that they will leave people to be sensible about wearing a mask i.e. discretionary

Then someone asks for clarification and now what.....

Quote

Boris Johnson has said people in England "should be wearing" face masks inside shops to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The prime minister said the government would decide in the next few days if "tools of enforcement" were needed.

Keep spreading the info about CO2 poisoning and ineffectiveness of face mask,

Yes, and the mask of the idiots ?

All the crap about thousands of new cases, but no one’s getting sick and no one’s dying; ffs, it’s staring us in the face what a farce it is but still the ignorant fools believe.

What can you do in the face of such idiocy?

I was in sainsbury earlier, loads of older people 65+ in full mask and gloves kits, like the last shift at the hospital had just ended .

Its at the point now where I go in rush about to get stuff & then get away as fast as I can, can't bear to see them or listen to the awful messages constantly piped through the store.

didn't hear a single person cough or sneeze or anything cold related, but there they were all in fear.

A solution (for me)is if they force me to wear wear them damn things I will wear one that looks as absolutely  filthy as possible, cover it in ketchup and melted chocolate let it dry..? really disgusting the better... if I get complaints then just .."I'm doing it for you not for me."

Older people are generally on the way to coming to terms with death but they would be absolutely emotionally stricken to pass any "deadly" infection onto a younger family member or person. No excuse for the deliberate campaign of misleading advice backed up by a letter direct from the PM remarkable for it's brevity.. No forgiveness for that.

The local shop has just started stocking masks placed next to the cash only please and £45 contactless limit signs so retailers have probably already been informed.

Wearing masks will not inspire confidence the puchasing public to visit the high streets - the lamest reason if ever there was one.

These older generation is in fear.

They are fixed in their way and unable to move with time therefore not getting info like we are sharing over here. Straight into the trap of MSM and propaganda.

Let this be a lesson for you and learn from their mistake. When you reach 65+, hopefully you won't be like them.

If you must really wear them, wear it on your chin or cover your mouth only....

If joe blogg is acting as an authority.... you can either ask them who they are..... a king, queen, pm, police etc.....

OR just say you needed to get some oxygen before you passed out. If they still try to argue with you or try to enforce etc.... be creative, there are many outcomes. LOL

It’s interesting as it appears to depend on the area you are in whether it’s older or younger people that are wearing more masks. Where I am it seems to be mainly younger people, and possibly the 85+, while the 40-70 bracket seem less likely to wear them.

@chocomel agree - If I do get forced to wear a mask in a shop  I might definately collapse in an isle with well laden shelves because of hypoxia and It might happen each time until they say that I dont have to wear a mask almost like a 2nd wave then a 3rd...........

I think a informative leaflet campaign might be in order soon - have a stapler and a hoody and can make a blasted mask  ;)

Excellent short vid! Thanks.

Tried to share it in blogger blog with o0gle Captcha. It won't let me post the banned video link in a comment.

Try it!!

Hey choc, you’re welcome.

As for the rest, I have no idea what you mean; I don’t do blogs or logs or social media of any sort ??

Though, are forums classed as social media?

Sorry, but I had to have a laugh about this.

Im pretty sure there are many on here who are ‘65+’, as are David and others who spread the truth.

There are people of all ages who believe this shit.

What's everyone going for? Health condition for me. And I'm going to be very narky if anyone asks me why I'm not wearing one. No one with a health condition or disability should feel intimidated to wear one

65+ members here are exceptional. I was referring to the average you see in the supermarket, as per posted by someone else.

My parents are in their 80s & they laugh at the mask brigade as they call them.

Tbh its pretty sad state that some peoples last years were spent in terror.

The govt permitted elderly genocide & nobody in opposition called them out on it.

Mandatory from the 24th, I just won't go shopping now for anything if I can possibly avoid it, voting with my  feet and wallet.

is this joke,a meme or a officially "document"

The law contains exemptions on public transport. Just type in "face cover exemption card" into Google. First and Arriva have their own.

https://accessibletravel.scot/face-mask-exemption-not-everyone-can-wear-one/

"There is no requirement to obtain evidence in the form of a letter from a doctor or government that you are exempt. If you have a condition which means you cannot wear a face covering you need only advise if asked that you cannot wear a face covering because you are exempt for one of the reasons listed above.

Disabled people should never face intimidation for not wearing a covering."

Yes, another step to make going down to the shops less pleasent and even more people will switch to ordering online.  An Amazon share is $3,100 (£2,450) up around $1,200 (£950) since the start of the year.

My wife actually has a genuine health reason not to wear a muzzle as she has sleep apnea. Still debating what my reason for exemption is going to be if the Welsh Government join Boris and his merry band of fuckwits in going full Nazi. Is having common sense exemption worthy? Does vehemently opposing fascist rule get me a pass? No? Okay then, I suffer from Paraskevidekatriaphobia. Good luck trying to Google that on your phone during your supermarket shift, Mister Social Distancing Champion.
