Observations
( This seems like a good list to print out and give to anyone you can think of who still feels pressured into wearing masks, in the workplace, and in waiting rooms for instance. They may need some back up, support and encouragement. I've overheard people at the doctors recently who still politely don't want to be rude, or however they would say it ... https://worldcouncilforhealth.org/resources/end-mask-mandates/ Please click on the link for the whole article World Council for Health 7 Reasons to End Mask Mandates for Good Posted on July 14, 2022 Updated on October 7, 2022 1. Nemuri Kyoshiro
My colleague had to attend a short hearing last week. It could have been done over the phone but for some reason it was scheduled as an in-person conference. She went with her client, who suffers from Emphysema, is on oxygen, and can barely walk. When they arrived, the security guard pointed to the mask requirement but took pity and waved them in. The adjudicator however, demanded that masks be worn. My colleague told the adjudicator that her client could not and would not wear a mask. The adjudicator stood up, walked out of the room and is now threatening sanctions. We await the outcome but are prepared to take this as far as we can. 1
Nemuri Kyoshiro
Follow-up to last Thursday's post. I received a phone call from the chief judge this morning. I get on well with her. She said that it is up to each individual adjudicator as to how they deal with mask issues and they have fairly broad latitude. I was told that walking out of a hearing room was unacceptable and she asked me what I would like to do about it (I have taken over the case from my colleague). I asked for a change of adjudicator (granted), and a hearing date in the next two weeks (also granted). The chief herself will hear the case and no masks will be required. She also suggested that I file a written argument that might help her expedite matters. It boils down the fact that they don't want us to file a discrimination case. As long as my client gets taken care of, then I won't take any further action. It's a small victory in the grand scheme of things but I'll take it.

Observations
Went to the surgery today In one waiting room one out of the three wore a mask, in the other waiting room, one older couple walked in with homemade face masks, no-one else had one on. Both receptionists were behind the awful perspex, without masks. Went to the hospital afterwards; the majority wore masks, although some staff didn't which was a litle bit encouraging? I saw too many rainbows; pedestrian crossings labelled 'cross with pride', and a big poster advertising rainbow pin badges, describing how it shows the hospital is inclusive and welcomes everyone. Oh everyone except anti-vax, mask less, smiling homophobes?! It is a sickness. A wolf in sheep's clothing. Damn them. 1 1

I see lots more masks than I have in an age and see people standing instead of sitting next to somebody. They'll scan the isle, go upstairs, come back down again and not take a seat. If I was to describe this tension in a single word, it would be paranoia. The funny thing has always been that while they're afraid to sit next to someone else, they'll happily stand in the narrowest part of the bus where other people have to squeeze past them in order to get on or off!

Observations
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/happy-healthy-little-girl-dies-29320731?int_source=mantis_rec&int_medium=web&int_campaign=more_like_this This little girl died suddenly 12 hours after feeling a tummy ache. On Saturday there will be a clap for her at the football as she was a Man City fan. There is much to say about this I'm sure, starting with this ridiculous mask picture that was part of the article. The continuous normalisation of the abnormal. 1

Observations
Something has to be done about the masks. I managed to get a specialist to gladly take it off, and an optician to almost reluctantly take it off, however I notice that Specsavers for example are still pushing extreme measures on their poor staff, including teenagers who are just there learning the 'trade'. The hospitals and doctors waiting rooms are much less now. Given the choice most people where I am don't want to wear them, but some are being coerced to for their jobs. These poor young people, it's a genuine form of torture and abuse. As usual let's focus instead on teaching hurty words and all of the new 'isms'. (I'd rather hear a wolf whistle, or gallows humour, than see another bloody mask). I check in on Matt Le Tissier and saw this ... Observations
I knew Bob had been fired but I don't think I had read his 'statement' before. Also, when he says why he was so angry; it reminds me why 'they' started putting signs everywhere in the last what, ten years? Saying abusive language and raised voices will not be tolerated. They knew damn well they were going to give us something to shout about! Edited April 15 by Observations 1

Observations
This is an interesting thread to look back on; the smart, calm, logical people who wanted to give the mandatory rabbits foot a miss ... brings back such 'head shaking' memories of those early days unfolding. Frustrating to see how many people are still being forced into wearing masks at work, and how many still don't seem to know that there is sensible support, and access to research available if they can just say no, just stand up and resist. 'We' have to at least save ourselves, and in doing so set a better example for others who still don't have the strength or experience right now. Even now! Is this what a free country looks like. The Tony B'liar, Gordon Brown era started a lot of this. They laid the foundations and they are still pulling strings, executing their plans. Despicable. 1

Observations
I received an email from smile free. org So I'm sharing their website as they're doing a lot of work on mask mandates, and they're trying to get the use of them stopped in hospitals as they feel that would make it harder for other places to use them. I should write and tell them about specsavers where I see they are still very much in use. Disgraceful. Shameless. https://smilefree.org/
Observations
Its bizarre to think that 3 years ago how many were wearing masks and now with a twist of the illusion of reality people are pretty much going about their business, and the few wearing masks are the scared and venerable, what a disgusting way to treat your fellow man, it hurts to see a couple of folks wearing dirty reused masks, and why?
