Why the fuck do the political wankers have to hijack everything these days?  I can't watch sport to just watch sport anymore.  Or go to a music festival just for the music.  Next time I go out for a meal I half expect the waitress to say something like "and would you like to donate all your food to the Ukraine?" -or-  "Please fill out our survey on how you intend to vote at the next election"!

It's like they realised they couldn't get to a certain percentage of the population to divide and conquer, that had no interest in their bullshit propaganda (that don't watch 24 hour news channels, don't worry about what some tosser PM is saying, don't bother with the sham of voting etc), so decided to infiltrate the stuff that they are interested in instead.

I used to like Glastonbury.... it looks like an antechamber to hell now......

Mission accomplished, the whole point of sport music and entertainment was that it wasn't supposed to be political... supposed to be a way of escape or transcendence.... they've fucked it all.... but that's ok.... I'm not a young man anymore...I've had my good times.... but for the young the world they've made just ain't worth living in. It's shit..... I'm running out of time whether I want to have kids..... but everytime I see shit like this I say... why would I bring them to this hellhole?

I feel your pain, it's because of the ego control complex, they just can't help themselves, a very pedophile mentality that wants your mind in their pocket.

And here is a form for you to fill out giving us rights to your vital organs if you die on our premises, everything must be monetised for that extra special level of control and to get that stock market to new all time highs

That's not quite correct, fixed it for ya:

so decided to infiltrate the stuff that YOU ARE interested in instead, and molest it.

Is this a thing at Glastonbury? Organ and food donation? Talk about weaponizing popular culture, but I suppose it always was to one degree or another. I went to Knebworth a couple of times in the 70s and I'm buggered if I can remember any type of political speech from the acts on stage. They would have been bottled if they had.

Dunno there was a lot of anti war rhetoric at festivals late 60's into the 70's. but not the politically woke BS that festival goers are brainwashed with now. Last festival I attended (i used to be a lighting tech so worked on lots) would of been V fest in 06 or 07 and i don't remember any of this BS back then.

I remember anti-war sentiments - it was at the fag-end of Vietnam - and lots of peace and love stuff but, yeah, absolutely nothing like what we see today. There was some political stuff at punk gigs but that was mostly aimed at anyone who was establishment, and the list there was pretty extensive. The ANL came around and the 'Rock Against Racism' crowd trying to recruit at gigs but most of them were probably undercover cops/drug squad.

Glasto never interested me in the slightest, used to be a niche thing for hippie wankers and prog rockers. Now it's an all-star wokefest of gay and liberal propaganda with any old has-been up on the ritual and symbol-heavy stage.

My memory may not be the best anymore but I can't remember there being a Glastonbury festival in the 70s. I stand to be corrected here but it doesn't strike a memory chord. Knebworth and Reading were popular but I stopped going in about 1978. I've never been to Glastonbury except on a visit to look around what was supposed to be Avalon.

In 2006 to 2010 roughly, I noticed the TV screens appearing in the banks and airports etc, with the news on subtitles. I realised that they wanted everyone at the click of their fingers, ready for that almost 9/11 moment to come. Don't miss it? The mass ritual? It felt like those films with the leaders on the big screen. This Zelensky stuff is really next level for me. Despicable. And what happened to keeping politics from the table/ polite conversation.

I've been to festivals and it was a break, a happy time.

Hey Alexa, yes I know what you mean about the same old faces, time and again.

I was NOT an undercover cop/drug squad, ta very much, nor were any of my lot. But I ran back stage security for RAR/ANL at Vicky Park - saw myself on a ?Channel 4 documentary recently - scary!

Glastonbury was good 30 years ago, till they kicked the travellers out & was a massive riot.

The actual festival at the bottom of the swamp was always commercial with a few good bands.

Was a free festival at the top in the Avalon fields & drumworkshops, alternative medicine or energy.

Everyone tripping their face off. Nobody ever paid to get in.

Then they built a fence & brought in cctv & snatch squads when the woke wanksy crowd took over.

Like everything else the anti establishment turned establishment & look at them now, pure zombies.

Royally embarrassed! Princess Beatrice is left blushing after her bank card was 'declined THREE times at Michelin-starred pop-up Glastonbury food stall'

Princess Beatrice attended Glastonbury with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

She was allegedly red-faced as her card was declined at a food stall three times

The Princess was unperturbed and quickly joined the crowds with her husband

The Glastonbury Festival marked its 50th anniversary with Sir Paul McCartney

Back in the day it was more of a South West of England festival (those were the accents you mainly heard), really alternative, the main stage was an after-thought, much more interesting stuff going on elsewhere. Had more of an Avalon, sacred ley line vibe throughout. Really magical. Nothing to do with money, in fact an escape from it. Got there for pennies, sneaked in, spent practically nothing in there. I think a lot of it now is to please the London crowd, and thats where the headliners are often decided, to suit rich, liberal metropolitan tastes. It was never so overtly Satanic either. Shocking to see all that.
