News reports I've seen focus only on Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn but according to the SkyMap app I have, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are also in the alignment. CeeCee Posted June 23, 2022 Share Posted June 23, 2022 No, that's not an alignment in any meaningful sense. You are seeing the planets in terms of how they lie on the plane of the ecliptic. They all rotate around the Sun on this plane. The picture would tell a different story of you were looking downwards as you would then get where they are in their orbits and see they are not aligned the same way.
